Sam~~~ Samuel felt power surge through him as the onikage he had slain fell limp on his chest. A feint Electric charge began to build in his body, and, much akin to a static shock, released into the air around him. A burst of light followed and Samuel felt something, a new power, a power that made him all the more interested in his new found fate. He concentrated, and with some effort he was able to cause a spark of energy to travel into the body of the dead man. He smiled darkly at this, Yes Samuel, soon you will find that much more power will follow... Samuel stepped away from the body and out into the street, for now his hunt would end, but soon, he knew, it would start again and with this next hunt would come even more power. He smiled at the thought and began whistling a tune too himself as he made his way back to the Winters' estate. The night air left him with a feeling of freshness and bliss, tonight had been a good night, and many more would follow it... Ariela~ Ariela had slowly recovered from the surprise of her shift in form. She wondered at what Artemis could be planning, What did this evolution mean? How had she even obtained it? These and many more had filled her scattered mind with doubt. Not only that, but the ring that had previously been melded to her right index finger had been replaced by a black gauntlet that emitted an eerie red glow from within. This, along with her transformation and Artemis's sudden appearance had cast a shadow of doubt in her mind, but only a shadow. Ariela still trusted Artemis, he was her tutor after all, and her reason for living. For that reason she would continue on as his emissary, bringing his judgement to the world of mortal's. His Verdict had been death to all who lived, and she had gladly taken up the responsibility of enforcing their punishment. "Humans" She spat, "They will all pay, every last one... That is why I am here, Why I gave my freedom for power.. Yes.. Together we will watch the world burn.." Within her she felt a silent approval, as always he never spoke, his will was enough to show her the way. Ariela stepped into the abandoned street. For once Artemus had willed her not too kill, no, for now she was to bide her time. She had been tasked with growing her power, and she would bend to her master's will. He had saved her... Shown her the truth.. She could not even comprehend disobedience.
