[indent]There was a time when Bullywugs were widespread in this world, living in many rivers and swamps. But slowly the more civilized races pushed them back from these lands, forcing them into the darker reaches of the world. Where once they ruled over forests and marsh, the Bullywugs now found themselves confined to deep tunnels and dungeons. This exodus from the above world is what led Phaid’s clan deeper and deeper, eventually finding their way into the Everdark. But even among the creatures of the dungeon the Bullywugs had trouble finding a place to live. That was until they found a submerged section of the dungeon, a part that the terrestrial monsters had avoided. The Bullywug clan declared dominion over this part of the Everdark, living for several generations there.[/indent]
[indent]Phaid would be one of the first born of his generation, quickly being taught the way of the Bullywugs. From a young age Phaid would show an aptitude in catching prey, quite often being found snacking on the many large rats that lived in the dungeon. Once Phaid got old enough to care about it, he decided that he would like to lead his clan. Figuring that he needed to do something to stand out, Phaid decided to personally deal with a clan of Goblins who had been messing with the Bullywugs. Phaid challenged their leader to a battle, both of them just wielding daggers. While Phaid would win the duel, it would come at the cost of his right eye. The Goblins would then move further into the Everdark.[/indent]
[indent]Following the battle, Phaid’s strength would be recognized by the other Bullywugs. The current head of the clan would dub him the Puddle Knight, protector of the clan. With this higher status Phaid would enjoy benefits like first picks on scavenged items, like his short sword, and the pick of any of the clan’s females. Because of this Phaid is currently on a high, seeing his future as clan leader all but guaranteed.[/indent]

[b]Personality:[/b]
[indent]Phaid is a very proud individual, always believing that he is doing the right thing and is correct. As such he tries to always be a leader, giving others commands and thinking that they should trust him. He is also quick to anger and will fight someone if he is given even a slight reason. He is also a coward, afraid that someone stronger than him would challenge him. But he is devious and is ready to sneakily deal with someone to avoid a fight he can’t win. But he does genuinely believe that he should lead the Bullywugs and is the perfect leader.[/indent]

[b]Appearance:[/b]
[indent]Phaid stands at 5’6’’ and has mostly dark green slimy skin. His stomach is a lighter green as his very spots around his body. He has a very large yellow and black eye on the left side of his face, while on his right side he is missing an eye, only a large scar there. Both Phaid’s hands and feet are webbed like an actual frog. Phaid has no hair, fur, scales, spikes, or any other thing covering his skin.[/indent]

[indent]Ambush Attacks (Bullywugs are known cowards and try to use surprise in battle, being quite good at sneaking up on people.[/indent]

[indent]Singing and Story Telling (Phaid is the chronicler of his clan and thus knows all their tales and songs. It is said that his voice is very pleasing to other Bullywugs).[/indent]

[indent]Phaid wears a skirt made of leaves from plants that grow in the Everdark. He also wears armour and weapon scavenged from a dead Dwarf adventurer, a set of wooden shoulder plates and a short sword.[/indent]
