Here are a few things I have planned that I told another interested person earlier, if it helps with anyone's inspiration:

"Fox Hole Tavern" - a historic tavern that has been preserved and is still in use. My character will be the owner/operator. There can be others who work there though. It's going to be pretty big and one of the main attractions of town. It has a bar, rooms to stay in, and I'm thinking a stage of some sort for shows.

Dive Bar - I haven't named this yet but another interested person may want to have their character run this place. We haven't finalized anything yet. They may also create another type of Diner instead. 

"Cozy Bear Diner" - just a small little family run Diner. [@OddApproved] Maybe your character could fit here? We obviously don't have to stick with the name if you don't like it. I just have a picture that shows that name lol! 

"Canyon Crest Academy" - this will be a K-12 school since the town is so small. Pretty old and run down, and understaffed.

I'll update my post with pictures of these places soon so everyone can get a feel for it. :)
