A New Generation of Hunters- A Supernatural Adventure
The world had always been a chaotic place. Vampires, werewolves, djinn, wendigo and who knows what else ran free- attacking whoever crossed their path on a bad day. Vampires attacked a small farmhouse on the outskirts of a backwoods town in the middle of November, the smell of cooking dinner gone wrong attracting their need to feed. As the wife and mother of two nursed her slides thumb, they attacked in the dark. Cutting the power, stalking the family, laughing at their screams... That night the Hall family lost Grandma, and Ben to the creature of the night that plague their dreams; and control their nightmares. At 12 years old, Margret Hall was introduced into the bloodthirsty world of the supernatural, brought into a new lifestyle of hunting, protecting, and learning by her parents who swore that they would never become that vulnerable to something inhuman again. Margret, who prefers to go by Maggie accepted this world, longing to avenge her little brother Ben who was pulled from her grasp too soon. Now she was being taught to shoot a gun, fire a bow and arrow, what to use against a vampire, a werewolf, a hybrid, or anything. Her family wasn’t accepted at first into the community of hunters until they made their first mission a successful trip, bringing back the head of the coven for questioning. That night something in Maggie changed and she realized what she knew she had to grow up to become. But this world was in the middle of its own storyline besides the one focused on the Hall family. The Winchesters lived in this timeline, and were doing what they did best, kicking down doors and marking down tallies to their books- saving the world again and again from the likes of Chuck and Crowley, even Billie on occasion. But time did what time does best- and it moved on. The world had it’s day, Jack became the new god and Rowena sacrificed herself to rule hell in tandem with the Nephilim. More time passed, and Samuel Winchester lost his big brother on a hunt, navigating the world without his number one. He got married, he settled down with her and finally created the family that he craved so much. He had children, naming his first after the one who always had his back: Dean. He affectionately called him DJ, or Dean Jr, and DJ grew up in a world with some order thanks to the partnership between Jack and Rowena but helping his father when creatures got out of line or rebelled against the ‘rules’. As he grew up, Sam stopped hunting more and DJ took up the Winchester mantle of saving people, hunting things. The family business. That was where Maggie met him on a hunt and before they knew it- the next generation of Winchesters was born not the world, rightfully so named Bobby and Mary. Now Maggie was taking on the mantle and becoming the matriarch of her family and collecting a group of hunters to travel with her, individuals who were capable of empathy and understanding, either before or after taking out a nest of something that goes bump in the night. A new generation of hunters was about to be gathered and the world was not ready for her new defenders.
A few years after the death of Dean Winchester, Sam moved on and got married, having a son of his own rightfully named after his fallen brother. Twenty five years later, the next Dean Winchester got married to a fellow hunter, someone that understood the life and knew that both- having a family, and that saving people, hunting things, the family business could be balanced. That fellow hunter was me: Margret Hall. Well- Margret Winchester now... I love Dean, or DJ as I call him. He is a wonderful hunter, an outstanding father- spitting image of Sam himself. But he definitely got the humor from his namesake while I was given the smarts. Maybe that was why Sam and I had gotten along so well before we lost him too. It's now up to Dean and myself to hold up the Winchester legacy and our young family. And after a very, VERY long talk with DJ, we settled on him taking a break from the life and me picking up where le left off. Equipped with the knowledge from my own heritage, and from the Winchester archives in the new and improved bunker that Sam built as a grieving project to honor Dean, I'm more than prepared to gather up a new line of hunters. We embrace a balanced lifestyle, taking on rotations out on the road so we could have time with out families- more than thankful that Sam and Dean handled the apocalypse- over and over. And over. She seems bossy, but that is just because she cares a bit more than she probably should about certain people and things. Her kids are her everything, and she would take on a nest of vampires by herself to save them if need be. But she fits in with the Winchester attitude, a little cocky sometimes, and not afraid to spew out pop culture references and random facts regardless if they relate to the situation at hand or not. Backstory: Her family got into hunting later in Maggie's life as it was the unfortunate situation of her family becoming the result of a hungry nest of wild vampires that never got the Rowena memo to only hunt specific types of humans. After losing her little brother and her grandmother that night, the family went into the deep end, bringing 12 year old Maggie into the life of a hunter and how to defend themselves. She became almost obsessed with out to kill things that went bump in the night, regardless of their 'extinct' status. She had heard of the infamous Winchester brothers, their legacy and how well they efficiently defended the living and her aim was to become just like- of not better than them. But wen she tuned 20, she met 22 year old Dean Winchester Jr.- Sam's son on a job and didn't even know that he was a Winchester until they had been talking for a few weeks and met up on a job in Utah. By that point, she was smitten and his last name meant nothing. Just that he had the same goals as she, and that he knew how to defend himself. He taught her how to fight like a Winchester, gave her family insight to the bunker and thousands of years of lore that Same transferred in over the years. Meeting Sam was like meeting her favorite celebrity. She panicked, fangirled, and then calmed down enough to ask him how he did it all those years and absorbed his advice like a sponge. And by 23, she was fortunate enough to be calling the legendary Winchester her father in law and changed her name from Hall to Winchester- with Robert(Bobby) and Mary being born a year and a half later; their twins. DJ and Maggie slowed down from hunting but a year or so ago began to pick it up again until Sam passed, losing their in house babysitter and confidant. Now that it was just them, they had a long talk and agreed that Maggie was the one who should continue the family business and that DJ could begin teaching the five year olds some basics from books and stories, keeping any weapons at bay for now. They learned from John's mistakes, and didn't want to make the same with their own children
