A Torkoal. it was a brutal attack and it left a rather deep mark. Jessie was a lonewolf and didn't really have much trust in anyone for how she was hurt for the last two years previously. Losing so much. Her entire family... It made her feel so alone. However seeing another person or thing or creature getting hurt. It was what really got her upset. She grabbed a empty pokeball and captured it. She decided to do the one thing that she knew had to be done.

Jessie: James, Let's go find a Pokecenter and get this Magneton fixed. We're gonna find out who did this. But for right now taking this one to the pokecenter and healing it is the most important.

Was there something in play about to unfold? Was the injured pokemon planned as a lure?...
