Actually, she was like this [i]long[/i] before she became a Magical Girl. If anything, her transformation makes her slightly [i]less[/i] annoying, due to her added charm and the pleasing sound of her voice in that form.

Think about the ramifications of [i]that[/i] for a bit…

And yeah, I always intended for Xolys to be a little over the top. He’s the one with all the real power, after all. Olivia just stands around and looks pretty (and creeps the hell out of anyone in close proximity).
