His mother bore three younger daughters named Reese, Grace, and Rosaline respectively. He was taught from a young age to care for and protect them which helped him develop into a fierce big brother. His father, Victor, was a knight and well respected in their kingdom. He was an army commander and guarded the royal family, the Calloways. Born to follow in his father’s footsteps, Xavier split his time between training and schoolwork while his sisters learned to cook, clean and sew. He often shared his free time with them when possible and taught Rosaline what he could. While he loved all his sisters, she was his personal favorite. They bonded like no other. He made himself a group of friends of other prodigies and would party when possible. Their goal was to protect the kingdom and their lords, as well as the princess whom he fancied from a young age. The two would often sneak out to meet one another and formed a very close relationship. He was sent away to learn more about knighthood. The time was spent training and learning the arts of horseback, swordsmanship, archery and more. Finally, he was dubbed an official knight. He and the princess had become an item and were expected to marry one another. War soon struck however and he was called to serve. He was gone for long periods of time and returned to find the princess had been set to marry a neighboring kingdom’s prince. Disease had struck while he was gone and had taken the life of Reese and his mother. His middle sister, Grace, had also gone off the deep end mentally, and was carted off to an asylum. Rose was left to care for what was left of their family while his father turned his grief to alcohol. Heartbroken, Xavier was then thrust into another war despite the situation. Another kingdom wanted to take advantage of their country’s situation and take over. His grief and aggression soon turned into savagery on the battlefield, earning himself a high number of kills. He’d earned himself an honorary title of knighthood and would go down in history as one of the most successful and lethal knights known as “Xavier the Great”. Once he returned home, he was informed he’d been personally chosen to be the princess’ bodyguard due to his lethality and skill. The prince had contracted the same illness that had taken part of his family and would soon perish. Knowing it was his moment, he planned to propose to Jessamine and also use some of the wealth to help his family. Unfortunately as Xavier leaves his room to accomplish this, a portal opens up and sucks him in. You can bet he is one pissed off man.
