He plays several instruments and is often seen carrying a guitar with him. He's sometimes a little out of touch with reality coming from a rich family, but he likes to think he's down to earth. He's spent time at a few different colleges, but it never amounted to much as he preferred to spend time on his music. He is actually quite good at playing and he can sing decently.
Backstory:
Mason Quinn was born to a very wealthy family in Ontario Canada. He spent his life being given every luxury, being pampered by his mother, but pressured by his father. He was expected to make something of his life, much like his father had. He was given private tutors and the best education money could buy, but his mother also insisted that he learn how to play the piano. It was this lesson that Mason appreciated more than any other, he found his love for music through this, and began asking for other instruments as he grew older. He grew the most passionate about the guitar, and found that he could sing. While his mother was thrilled, his father was not the least bit interested in entertaining the idea that his son could do anything with music. His mother tried to find a middle, suggesting that Mason go to school for the business side of the industry, where there was more likeliness of making a career. Mason found this dull work, and though he agreed to the classes, he wound up not finishing them. His father continues to push education and making something of himself, while his mother encourages him to pursue his dreams. It was her who suggested he get away to the cabin, to think about his life and his future. He was getting older and his music career still had not taken off. He needed to find something that he could do with his life, besides music. Mason agreed, but he has no intent on giving up on his music career.
Miscellaneous:
Through all his schoolwork, he does have a generic bachelor's degree, though it's never been used.
