It did end up being just a moment - because in the next the wendigo had decapitated Laharl's thralls and looked ready to finish the two Seekers off as well. Laharl had a nasty wound from the elimination of his strikers, but Primrose couldn't tend to it with the monster untethered and lusting for blood. The dancer narrowed her eyes. Thankfully she would not have to face the creature down alone, as the pair of Phantom Thieves arrived just in time to box the wendigo in. Corralled, it spun between the thieves and the fire before deciding that Primrose and Laharl were it's best bet for getting out of the trap. Though Primrose was not keen to let it escape. She nodded to Panther, conjuring the Fire Orb once more in her hand. "Gladly." The spell swelled in size, blazing hotly in her palm until it grew too big to hold anymore. For good measure she boosted the magic, her figure flashing with power for a brief moment. "Fire, burn strong!" she called, hurling the Fire Orb at the wendigo. Trapped as it was, the monster screamed and snarled, launching itself in a last ditch effort to escape from the flames, though it was too late. The ball of fire exploded on impact, and the monster let out a shrill screech as it was cremated. If Primrose was less dignified she would have sank to the floor then, but instead she pressed a hand to her chest and let out a deep sigh. There was still work to be done. While the Kelvin's attention was taken up by others, the group that had engaged the wendigos could regroup and get the healing that some of them desperately needed. Primrose conjured the flame of Warmth, beckoning her companions closer together now that the immediate threat has passed. "Would you help me get them stabilized, Panther?" she asked of the girl. Between the two of them they could fix up Laharl and Yoshitsune enough to get them out of the danger zone while the battle was still technically on. She made to glance over at the golem, but it was then that she noticed the remaining three Phantom Thieves had joined them. With all of them there was never any worry about the wendigo getting out alive, and they had the extra healing at hand as well. "You too, Mona?" Across the cavern floor, Therion had been on the backfoot. He was able to outpace the living colony but had to stick close enough to it in order to actually attack it. With his fire magic still on the fritz and his divine skill not even an afterthought, his long range options were limited to exactly none. Still, whenever he went in with his blade and ended up trading blows with the thing, it only managed to land glancing hits on the thief. Or perhaps whatever that flat dog thing did had weakened it further, he wasn't sure but he wasn't about to question it now. It wasn't an ideal situation but it was far from the worst Therion could think of. Of course, once the cavalry appeared the golem just had to switch things up. When it transformed itself into mist and flew right at them, Therion raised his arms with the intention of blocking whatever was about to happen, only to be frozen in place. That experience was awful, being aware but unable to move coupled with the near burning sensation of the deep freeze. He struggled until he finally felt his limbs again, breaking out of the thin layer of ice. After they got out off this godsforsaken mountain he was going to park himself in front of a fireplace and never leave. Before that, killing this thing. He and one of the group's larger members were stuck with it on one side of a huge ice wall it made. Alright, again not ideal but he could work with this. At least he wasn't stuck alone with it. Band went right into the action, knocking the Kelvin off of it's feet. Therion joined in, using the music man as a stepping stone to launch himself at the monster. While airborne he couldn't see any kind of weak spot, so he settled for it's skull. He drew the sword back, feeling a familiar kind of power swimming through his body. Without stopping to think about it Therion's body flashed brightly for a split second, and with more force than he normally would have he stabbed the golem in it's face once he landed on it. Not caring to test his luck at the moment, Therion jumped backward off of the thing, making way for a heavier hitter to get up close and personal. "All yours big guy."
