At some point we just lost track of where we were and once we looked back, the aisles just kept going on and on forever and we couldn't retrace our steps. Now we are trapped in here, this endless hellish monument to Sam Walton and the worst part is, we aren't alone. When the lights go out the "Staff" come out. Human-ish things that never have the right proportions and no faces, screaming for us to go to the nearest exist and leave the store since its now closing. Only trouble is we have no idea where that damn place is and the Staff are more than happy to try and rip us apart instead. Of course if you're really unlucky you might get dragged off to a Staff Room and get turned into a "Smiler". Don't know what the hell happens in the Staff Room but everyone who comes out is all wrong and twitchy and has this creepy big yellow smiley face on them and work with the Staff to make our lives hells. And that's to say nothing of the huge, eldritch "Sales Monsters" that come out during a Sale Day... Still, we are stubborn bastards. There's enough of us in here to have created little fortified settlements with proper walls and there's enough junk laying around for us to make weapons and armor among other things. And at least the Staff sometimes restock the shelves during the day light when they aren't hostile so we don't all starve to death. Even if they typically only restock before a Sale Day. Honestly if you replaced the creepy monsters with zombies it'd be pretty normal post apocalyptic environment but honestly, that's a cold comfort to most of us. We don't know how long we've been stuck in here, some of us months, others years. We just hope that the outside world hasn't forgotten us in here...

Welcome to Wal-World!

This is pretty much an RP set in the SCP 3008/Infinite IKEA setting, only instead of IKEA is a Walmart, mostly because Walmart sells a lot more stuff than IKEA meaning there's more things to use, play with and build from. Staff are pretty much the same, only in Walmart uniforms. Smilers look like Sammy from Bendy and the Ink Machine only with the addition of a blue apron and a yellow smiling mask. Sale Day Monsters look like a mix of Lovecraftian Bloodborne bosses and Dead Space Necromorphs, made up of multiple Smilers and Staff fused together into an unholy abomination. As for the RP itself, it is still up in the air between just "try to get out" or "stay and help a settlement grow" plots. Or perhaps something else.

Store Regulations

> Standard Guild rules apply, don't be an idiot. > No godmodding or puppeting other people's characters unless they give you permission. > No pulling a random gun out of your pocket. Everyone starts with nothing except what they'd enter a Walmart with. (Keys, wallet, etc.) > Be nice to people, keep your beef somewhere else. > No posting requirements but every post should either progress something forward or expand on a detail. Do not make short, static posts.

Walmart+ Membership Registration

I'm hoping for a quicker, more condensed character sheet guide. The following is the requirements your sheet must have. You can write more if you want. Remember this should all be pre-Walmart isekai. They either have no idea how they ended up in the Wal World, just sort of waking up, or last remember being in a Walmart and wandering into a more deserted section before getting hopelessly loss.
NAME: AGE: LOOKS: TRAITS: EVENTS: SKILLS:

NAME: Allen Tsong AGE: 31 LOOKS: An Asian male entering just entering middle age. Tall, average build with smooth black hair, brown eyes and a stubble. Came into the Wal-World in business casual, grey polo shirt, khakis and sneakers. Lost his favorite jacket at some point after getting chased by Staff which he's a little bummed out about. TRAITS: Allen values the ideas of persistence and looks up to being as efficient as possible, even though he is prone to bouts of laziness. He believes intrinsically in the value of teamwork and cooperation, and that empathy and kindness are great virtues. Known foe keeping a level head, Allen tries his best to be a stable anchor for everyone else, preferring stability and predictability over rashness and isn't keen on trying to "prove himself". He also prefers not to get his hands dirty, ideally using only traps or ranged weapons to fight rather than melee. EVENTS: Allen was born to a Chinese father and an American mother, having grown up in an otherwise unremarkable suburb. After falling into a bad crowd during his teenaged years, he was pulled out with the help of a very sympathetic teacher who helped him get into university and a part time job at a warehouse. Although he initially went in for business, he failed most of his major courses and ended up switching over to psychology to become a therapist. The last thing he remembers is going into a Walmart to get office supplies and then getting lost. SKILLS: A trained therapist, Allen's biggest skill is being able to apply his old life's skill in reassuring, inspiring and counselling others in the very alien and fairly traumatic environment they are in. Allen is also good at organizing and likes to keep charts and lists of supplies as well as labeling them. While not especially strong, he has excellent stamina meaning he can often outrun Smilers who chase him and sometimes outsmart the less intelligent Staff, making him a decent choice as a messenger between settlements or scout when paired up with someone.
