[indent]Lukas is of average height and build for a boy of his age, with a body that is slim and only a little toned from light exercise. Lukas’s face is long with prominent cheek bones, accentuated by his large, thick rim, black glasses that he wears. Behind the glasses is a pale skin tone as Lukas prefers to remain inside. At the top of his head is a large mess of curly black hair. This unkempt hair goes from his shoulders up to a few inches over his head.[/indent]
[indent]Lukas does dress with some intention, as he plans out his outfits in advance. This could mean wearing a dress shirt, blazer, and jeans, or a turtle neck, slacks, and boots. His taste is eclectic in style and color and Lukas isn’t afraid to try something new and push the boundary of what is considered normal.[/indent]

[indent]Lukas is a man of contradictions. While he is riddled with anxiety, he also appears sure and able to make decisions. Lukas tends to have destructive relationships as he had trouble making proper relationships. While he wants to be close to people, he tends to push them away with his actions. It is very easy to set Lukas off as many things can trigger him. A school counselor suggested that he might have Borderline Personality Disorder, but that was never confirmed.[/indent]
[indent]The best relationship in Lukas’s life is with his Angel, the energy being with who he shares a body. While initially like a child, the time spent talking with Lukas has caused him to develop and form a personality. The Angel is now very caring and supportive, often someone for Lukas to talk to when he is having a dilemma. Humanity greatly interests the Angel as he wants to meet more people, which he has to do through Lukas, so he pushes him to socialize. The Angel is also very protective of humans, and will do his best to keep them safe. It is actually the Angel who is pressing Lukas into them becoming a superhero. But Lukas is disillusioned by the idea of heroes and is resistant to the notion.[/indent]

[u]History:[/u]
[indent]Lukas was born the first grandson of Greek immigrants to Canada. Originally settling in Toronto, they quickly disliked the big city and instead moved northwest to Guelph, a much smaller city, where they would open up a Greek restaurant. The Angelos family would quickly become a key part of the community as they made good food and were friendly. It was in Guelph that Lukas’s parents met. His mother was a student at the local university who walked into the restaurant one day and met his father. They hit things off and in a year they were married. A year after she finished her studies, Lukas’s mother would give birth to him.[/indent]
[indent]Lukas would grow up in his grandparents’ kitchen, soon joined by two younger siblings. As the oldest, Lukas felt that there was a lot of pressure on him to be a role model for his siblings. This pressure caused him a lot of anxiety, but it went unnoticed by his parents as their attention was on the latest alien invasion. So Lukas had to figure out ways to deal with all the tension in his body, eventually focusing it into anger. He would be suspended from school for the first time by getting into a fight.[/indent]
[indent]Lukas’s parents would be immediately angered, punishing him without trying to figure out what was wrong with him. So Lukas’s anxiety continued to build as he acted out in more ways. The now teenage Lukas started going to parties, skipping class, and smoking pot. However, his parents still didn’t get it and continued to punish him. By the time he was sixteen, Lukas decided to move in with his now retired grandparents. While they were a little more understanding, they still didn’t get all the pressure built up in Lukas.[/indent]
[indent]Lukas wouldn’t spend much time living with his grandparents before he decided that he needed to leave town. Alongside a friend named Kirk, Lukas got into a car and started to drive to British Columbia, hoping to start a new life on the west coast. But before they could even leave Ontario, their car broke down. They were in the middle of nowhere and had no cell service, so Lukas went to go find help.[/indent]
[indent]It was in walking through these dark woods that Lukas’s life changed forever. A bright light appeared in the sky, before rapidly descending toward Lukas. He tried to run, but the light was too fast and it collided with him. Suddenly Lukas wasn’t the only mind within his body. There was an alien presence there, a simple mind like that of a child. Lukas tried talking to this presence, and while it understood him, it could not really answer anything. Then they separated, an energy form flying off into the sky.[/indent]
[indent]Lukas was relieved and immediately started running back to Kirk. However, after a few minutes Lukas began to feel sick. As he collapsed to the ground, Lukas saw the energy being return and recombine with him. Following this incident Lukas told Kirk that he wanted to return home. So after their car was fixed, Kirk dropped Lukas at the nearest town. From there Lukas took the bus home to Guelph.[/indent]
[indent]Once he was back in town, Lukas tried to patch things up with his parents and just generally be better. He stopped partying and now tried at school. While he was doing this, Lukas was experimenting with what he and the energy being could do. Lukas started calling the being his Angel, as the Angelos were always said to have a guardian angel.[/indent]
[indent]It turned out to be impossible for Lukas to keep his new state hidden from his family. While initially worried, they came to accept this new normal. It would be Lukas’s mother who reached out about getting him some training. After looking around for several months, Anepool Academy for the Gifted would extend an invitation for Lukas to study there.[/indent]
[indent]While Lukas was impressed with the offer, he still a lot of anxiety about going there. He had never even left Canada before, and now he was supposed to go live by himself in the US? But after deliberating with his, Lukas decided that getting an education, both power and academically wise, was for the best. He has now spent about a year in Anepool, studying at the academy.[/indent]
