alyssa is constantly striving for better, and if she isn't stimulated or challenged in ways she will get bored, whether it'd be with an activity, work, or even with people. she has a consistent drive to keep climbing and will not hesitate to step on the people she needs to in order to get where she wants to get.

[indent]alyssa was born to a hot-shot contractor and an accountant who just so happened to be at the right place at the right time. alyssa's mom was temporarily assigned to her father's accounting firm and they met, quickly becoming attached to each other and eventually getting married and having alyssa and her older sister and younger brother.

alyssa's uprising was your run of the mill, average upbringing that you could have in a place like palm beach. lavish vacations taken to some exotic destinations, winters in a cabin up in new england, etc. alyssa's father always drove home the point that all of this was to be worked for, and that he earned all of this through hard work and determination -- and it was important to stay hungry and strive for better. alyssa quickly latched onto that mentality, and as she went through her schooling, she was always imposing competition onto herself, even if it was over the tiniest of things.

eventually, alyssa got herself into a good school in the university of california, los angeles, and studied architecture there. after that, she was immediately recruited to a prestigious architecture firm, popping up on their radar after receiving high marks in a challenge that they had sponsored. since then, alyssa has spent time with the firm, but she has also started to grow tired of the opportunity. her life, as good as it was, was starting to bore her. every day was the same. wake up, get ready, go to work, come home, and do the same old shit she did. day after day.

maybe coming back to her old high school reunion would spark more fire in her, and give her the motivation she needed to continue her drive... or maybe pivot down another path.[/indent]
