Welcome [@Vilicious] and [@offxthexclock]. I have been on this site for about 10 or 11 years. The site is only 8 years old. The original crashed at the end of 2013. What I like about this site is, you are not pinned down to a specific genre. You can write about any subject or fandom. I tried RP on Discord this past fall/winter and didn't really care for it. I mean I would do it again, but I much prefer the forum-based Roleplaying. Maybe because I have been doing it this way longer and it makes sense.

I recommend you write your preferences in your bio like Vampiretwilight did. This way others can see what your preferences are. You can also read other's bios in search of folks with similar styles.
