[indent]Benji isn't a perfect guy. He's full of flaws and has made plenty of mistakes (some in high school and some recently). He carries his individuality on his sleeves. He openly admits to being a womanizer and there is nothing anyone can say to dispute that. But that doesn't make him a bad guy. If you're not in his face for being an asshole, then you'll have a good time with him. If you're someone who likes some certain party favors, you'll have a good time. If you're someone looking to have a [i]good[/i] time away from an ex or a shitty partner, then look no further than The Doctor himself. He'll tend to your needs and you'll thank him for it.

Yes, he has an ego. And yes maybe some people might think he has a face that needs to punch. Is he a typical Nate Jacobs? Maybe. Maybe he's more unrefined Chuck Bass. Or maybe he's reign of terror Triple H. People tend to decide that for themselves, but there's one thing that Benji Cross isn't and that's boring. He's a certified good time™.[/indent]
[color=4169e1][b]Backstory[/b][/color]
[indent]When Benjamin Cross was young, he didn't have many heroes. He didn't have anyone he looked up to as a role model. It wasn't that he didn't have figures like that in his life. In fact, up until a tragic moment in his family's lives, he had three: his father Simon and two older brothers, Wesley and Sylvester. But Benji wasn't the kind of look-up to squeaky clean men. He didn't know why, but there was something about edgy figures that intrigued him. He couldn't explain it and if anyone asked why he always rooted for the bad guys in shows, he'd probably just shrug and offer a nonanswer like "Cause I do".

Truth was, Benji saw himself in the likes of Kevin Nash and Scott Hall during that iconic, original run of the NWO. And of course, he also liked what WWE was doing with DX and, really Benji was addicted to professional wrestling in the 90s and 2000s. He spent so many hours when he was younger consuming the product and only that. And then he'd emulate not only the moves he saw on television but the mannerisms. Their personality became his personality. He became charming and sociable. He was assertive and blunt in most cases. But one night he watching either WWE or WCW (he couldn't tell you which it was), he and a friend of his were talking and watching and emulating everything. And he said to his friend. "That's going to be us. Ruling the place and getting all the girls!"

Now let's get something straight: Benji never was an asshole or anything like that. By all rights, he was a sweet kid. He wasn't, like, a a loser or anything like that. He sure as hell wasn't a pushover. If he had to fight, he'd fight. Maybe that's what set him apart from his brothers and why he brought home more scrapes and bruises than he did good grades.

But when he was watching that episode of whatever WWE or whatever, at eight years old, Benji made up his mind that he wasn't going to let anyone disrespect him. IT wasn't just something about who he saw on TV that inspired him, but it was a personal vow — a vow that he kept all the way up to when he was thirteen. AT this time, Benji was still the sweet kid that everyone knew. He wasn't the type to start fights, but if he felt disrespected or if his twin sister, Cassie was disrespected, he made exceptions and [i]ended[/i] those fights. He didn't have the diplomatic, pacifist personality or demeanor his brothers or his father had. He was an aggressor but was like that for all the right reasons.

But then they got the call. Sylvester, his oldest brother, died at the age of twenty-three. 

The day that it happened was just three days shy of Sylvester's graduation day from Meadow University. Just three days when he was going to be the pride of the family. 

Well, that was Wesley's job now. Wesley, the brother that, even though he and Benji were as far from being anything like as brothers could get, at least had that bond of being in Sylvester's shadow. Benji even in his darkest thoughts had hoped that Wesley might still be that. 

But then their father put the pressure on. It wasn't even in a negative way. Wesley just wanted to be the man that he knew Sylvester to be. And he did so in all the best ways. He got perfect grades, got accepted into his dream school of Harvard, and went on to make the family proud. Meanwhile, on the other end of the spectrum, Benji had the exact opposite reaction to his brother's death. Sylvester was everything to the family and Benji might as well be the black sheep because his grief manifested into more aggression, more recklessness, and it eventually made Benji into a bitter, go-with-the-flow kind of guy. 

During high school, Benji got a reputation of being an uncaring, selfish, does-what-he-wants asshole. He slept with as many people as he could, regardless if they were single or not. He manipulated them through his self-professed superior genetics as a tool to get what he wants (AKA he's hot and bitches love hot guys). In addition, he fell into some wrong crowds and became a drug dealer, so naturally, he became a popular monster and a monster that was necessary for some people. He had the hookups and no matter what, every person who hosted parties had him on speed dial because, of course, he was someone that could make them epic. He was dubbed "The Doctor" and his customers were his patients.

But after graduation and after high school ended, The Doctor remained in his scene, but unlike the heaven that he was in when he attended King's Academy, Benji came under fire for a lot of reasons. His family found out that he wasn't just selling, but he was also using his own product. There were some attempts to get him to quit cold turkey, but all of them failed. Then a few interventions with a focus on tough love, but again, it didn't work. Benji then took a turn for the worst as he was arrested on drug-related charges. 

Prison was the only way he would change, but a guilty Simon couldn't see his son rot in prison. The usual white-collar criminal struck a deal with a judge and got his son off on misdemeanor charges of possession and intent to sell. He was fined $20,000 and sentenced to 300 hours of community service. When it was all said and done, his father cut him off.

So obviously in protest, Benji gave a big middle finger to his father and moved far away from his family. He spent a few nights on couches thanks to his "friends" who lived in the midwest and along the west coast. Eventually, he found himself part-timing as a DJ at a nightclub in LA, thanks to some connections he had with a bud of his from high school. Soon he found his calling as not only a talented DJ, but old habits died hard. Not only in a womanizing way, but Benji was back to dealing. Nightclubs were a popular spot for that kind of side-gig. His bud didn't know about it, of course. And Benji sure as hell wouldn't tell him, but Lost Cross AKA Professor Cross AKA The Doctor was back and he wasn't going anywhere.

And that went double for the side piece he was seeing. At twenty-eight, just months away from the reunion he received an email for, the Doctor started to casually see a 19-year-old college student he met at the nightclub he worked at. She was kinda dumb and certainly lacking in intelligence, but she was pretty wild in other areas. He obviously RSVP'd for the reunion, but he wasn't going alone.

No, he wasn't taking his clingy side piece. He was taking some of his favorite friends: molly, Alice (shrooms), Xanny (Xanex), Val (Vallium), Aunt Nora (cocaine), and many more. It was going to be a fun, partying kind of reunion, after all. And what was fun without The Doctor and his supplies?[/indent]
