[i]In some strange event a phenomena occurred across all of reality itself, like existence was expanding and collapsing all at once then it all became one. Now all of reality exists in one universe all but scattered and broken, existence tears at itself in constant parallels at the same time. 

Large chunks of places that once were float through an empty void providing a haven for it's original inhabitants and outsiders alike, some as large as islands or as small as a basketball court. Outside of these pockets of land lays a dark expanse below nigh endless, a drop into the inky black void of nothingness would be certain doom.[/i]
