Avrael, infamous mercenary and man of many names, he is also Volto Bianco of the Dieci Volti Nascosti. An enigma just like the others, not much is known about his background or the truth of his identity. Avrael is likely not his real name. Additionally, his age, nationality, and even his exact RAS are all unknown to others (in reality 8.15). Even his appearance and visage are not really known as he had virtually never been caught in his deeds, not to mention the featureless mask he always seem to wear on his face. What are known are his many exploits that had earned him his many monikers. Among the most famous of these monikers is "Shadow-Killing Phantom", so attributed due to his specialty in killing assassins, infiltrators, and all those who dwells in the shadows; countless such individuals had fallen to him, many without ever realizing anything as their ends arrived so quickly and suddenly.

It is also known that he is of very considerable skills in the application of Chemical and Arcane magic, with additional rumors claiming that he is also a user of Atomic and Blood magic (in truth, the former is false while the latter is true). Outside of magic, victims attributed to be his had been found slain by blade, bullet, poison, or even blunt trauma that were all likely caused mundanely. Thus, it is believed that Avrael possessed significant capabilities in both magical and non-magical skills pertaining to his craft. Indeed, the success he have had in both maintaining his anonymity and in fulfilling his missions were in fact a result of both mundane and magical talents.

His talents are such that relatively early in his career he nearly succeeded in eliminating Giacomo the Crow himself. Avrael failed in the end, making Giacomo the [b]only[/b] target that he ever failed to eliminate, but it is said that the experience of it was enough to convince Giacomo that he had lost a step and that it was time for him to retire and teach as he barely escaped with his life against Avrael.

Of recent years, he had found himself frequently under the employment of Cheol Sang-nam, the cruel emperor of Tan Keoul. The details of this are unsurprisingly unknown to all but himself, the emperor, and the emperor's most trusted, but what is certain is that he had been paid very very generously for this. The latest task currently entrusted to him is to be the "handler" for Seung Eun-Ji, one of the emperor's "valuable asset" currently enrolled in Ersand'Enise, to watch her every step and to inform her of important updates to her mission.

And additionally, to terminate her should she ever become a liability.

*The following are information provided for OOC knowledge. As a rule, these are [b]currently[/b] unknown to the characters IC except for certain details known on a need-to-know basis by certain individuals.

- His real name was Manuel de Mendicanti. He was once a Revidian noble, long since disgraced and believed to be long dead. He no longer used this name, and as such in a way, Manuel de Mendicanti was indeed no more.
- He possessed a RAS of 8.15, and is a very skillful master of Chemical, Arcane, and Blood magic.
- His early failure in killing Giacomo the Crow had slightly tarnished his reputation within Revidia, and it's why he decided to branch out abroad. It ended up being very fruitful for him and he soon reestablished himself as among the utmost elite; one of the fabled Dieci Volti Nascosti.
- Cheol Sang-nam was in reality fearful of Avrael, especially because many of his Lotus Sentries had fallen to Avrael in the past. The Doge himself had something to do with the attacks on the Lotus Sentry. Their assassinations of prominent Rettanese merchants had costed Revidia and the Doge a lot of money, so he hired Avrael and some of the other Dieci Volti Nascosti to take them out and teach Sang-nam a lesson: To keep his nose out of business that affected Revidia. In turn, Sang-nam was forced to outbid the Doge to protect himself and his valuable agents; an extremely expensive price to pay. In short, Cheol Sang-nam made a deal with the assassin-killing merc so he will stop murdering his Lotus Sentries.
- Sang-nam appointed Avrael to be Seung Eun-Ji's handler because he doesn't really have a lot of actual work for the legendary assassin of assassins. Additionally, he wanted Avrael far away from where he might be able to strike at the heart of the Tan Keoulean black ops and espionage operation in case he's bought by the Doge again. Hence, the legendary Volto Bianco is "babysitting" Eun-Ji... And also possibly in Ersand'Enise for certain other jobs.
