But under the sudden pressure of Sunshine's question, Andy knew. She also knew that Zari had, up to this point, shown little interest in her back. But that was fine. Andy didn't mind. She just wanted to help her. Not that she knew how she was supposed to go about that.

Also, his form of parenting was very different than the Drummonds. And the countless foster families Andy had bounced through. She thought of the faces of the people she had believed were her parents as a kid. That first family got rid of her as soon as they had their own child. She didn't do attachment well.
