Tori is a spunky young lady that was training to be a journalist (tv reporter). While in college her roommate was attacked by a Mutant and she was killed. Tori was also injured in the attack(which lead to her post cognition powers).  This sent Tori in a different direction, applying to the FBI academy, with her grades and having three generations of police officers in her family, she was motivated and was accepted. 

She made it through the training and made Special Agent (There are those that think she was given special treatment) and assigned to media relations. Her claim to fame is vlog “Anti-Mutant News” where she reports on the evils of mutants. She still runs the vlog with official sanction of the USC. She occasionally is assigned to a team in the MRD. This is helpful as aiding mutants and working with mutants may also be crimes. 

Tori is athletic, creative, and attractive. She prefers shooting her 45 spare to the standard issue 9mm.
Tori does not put up with crap from people. She likes to play the crazy Hispanic woman bad cop.

[indent]Tori’s power is postcognition - (The ability to read past events from objects and items. Downside: She feels like she was there at the time.)
Mental invisibility- (Not readable by telepath or electronics. Downside: looks like random brain waves to doctors.)

Abilities:
Tori is a black belt in Akido and Arnis. 
She is a good marksman (not sniper).
She has her private pilots license.
She can drive a motor cycle but prefers cars.
She has a large media following 
She has a lot of powerful connections.

Weaknesses:
   Using her power makes her feel like she is there. If investigating a murder scene she might feel like the victim or the attacker. 
   She does not believe everyone is bad, or that all laws are right, but she is more apt to be harder on a mutant than a normal human.

When you are the oldest girl in a family of New York Cops, you do anything else. When you are a beauty pageant winner (Ms. New York) and driven to ask questions (and are nosy) you look at going into the media. When your best friend is killed by a Mutant and you are hurt, you fight back with all you got. 

Coming from a family of cops and having lived the parent life, where half a pound of fat is enough to ruin your chances. Tori was in great physical shape. Her martial arts training came from growing up in a house of cops and with a lot of male cousins and brothers.

Tori’s powers are the result of the attack on her roommate and herself. She is still fully human but her brain was slightly retired. [/indent][/hider]
