Whatever remains of it, anyway. Powers/Abilities: Inorganic Molecular Compression/Expansion: Curator is able to manipulate the molecular bonds of inorganic objects to shrink or enlarge them in a manner similar to Hank Pym's shrinking technology, though it seems this cannot affect living creatures. This is accomplished by a wrist-mounted shrink ray device. Stasis Orbs: A small, handheld device that bears great resemblance to a Poké Ball from the popular video and TV series, Pokémon. It is here that he stores the drones, weapons, and other mundane objects that he might use for offensive and defensive action. When activated, the orb will split in half and enlarge all the objects that were stored within, bringing them into the fray of battle. The capacity of each orb varies between objects, but there would be no less than a dozen attack drones or a pair of cars inside at any given time. Warspite Armor: A suit of powered armor that may or may not be based off stolen blueprints. It possesses jetpacks, the durability to take on lower grade explosives, and advanced HUD system. It lacks the hand blasters that Tony Stark's suits used, but makes up for it with the shrinking rays and drones stored in stasis orbs. It can be deployed with a suitcase, like Iron Man's Mark V armor. Background: Baldur Angstrom, named after the Norse god of joy and light, was born as the heir of the Swedish weapons company, Angstrom Defense. It was nowhere the size of the likes of Hammer or Stark Industries, but it still advanced technology in many areas, especially on stasis and cryogenics. Baldur, being the eldest son of three, was fully expected to be the one to take the reins after his ageing father, Felix, passed on to the next life. It was a lot of pressure that only increased as the years went on and on, so Baldur tried to occupy his own mind by spending time on research that might aid the company. Problem was, he wasn't too original when it came to ideas. Not at that time, at least. When Antman and the Wasp appeared in the news as being able to shrink and enlarge at will, Baldur's attention and interest was piqued. What if they could use something like that? They could save so much space and money if they could place their drones in a small container and enlarge them upon release. Coming to the obvious conclusion that the technology of shrinking was based on molecular bonds, Baldur began to experiment. He never attempted it on live subjects, as it wasn't his intention to put people on a box, or hide an army under a table. No. Angstrom Defense makes drones, and if they could get a way of easy transportation, then imagine all the buyers that will come their way! It took nearly a decade of constant trial and error to get it right, but Baldur created a shrink ray that could manipulate the sizes of inorganic objects. It came a tad bit too late, however, as the Dark Phoenix crisis had just begun. Baldur's entire family were killed as Jean Grey rampaged throughout the globe, leaving him alone and bitter. Her rage also obliterated nearly all of the facilities that Angstrom Defense held, leaving only the vaults that were hidden in the forests of northern Sweden. Then Jean Grey was seemingly defeated, and for a few weeks, it might have seemed that Earth could breath a sigh of relief. But that was not to last. Legions of vengeful aliens came, angry that their worlds had been destroyed by a Terran host to the Phoenix Force. At that point, Baldur was convinced that the world was nearing its end, so he directed the remaining employees and their families to be placed in cryogenic stasis in the underground vault to ride out the apocalypse that would soon come. It did come in its own way. While the world was subjugated under a dystopian, mutant hating regime, Baldur Angstrom and his employees slept. They weren't supposed to awaken before 300 years had passed, but alas, they were roused from their slumber when the computer systems of the vault detected that the surface of the Earth were completely livable after 40 years. And so Baldur awoke to a world that had changed greatly. He expected it to be destroyed, its whole surface razed to ash, but that wasn't the case. Instead of a wasteland, he was greeted by an evil government that would have certainly had his son murdered for existing, since he was a mutant. He knows not what to do. From the stasis vaults of Angstrom Defense were 300 men, women, and children, a few of whom were mutants. Baldur would never turn any of them in, and he vowed to protect them from a world that wishes them dead. As such, while the Empire is busy prosecuting its war against mutants, Baldur Angstrom steals many things from under their noses, attempting to learn what manner of monstrosities they may have created.
