Are y'all talking somewhere else other than the thread or is it just generally quiet?
Yeah, gonna second Kassarock there. Though, a factor is definitely the general quietness of the OP, except in very brief bursts (to be fair, he's kinda waiting for potential players to make the first move and actually submit character concepts to him for approval). The pace of character creation itself is also generally pretty glacial unless those interested make certain to have a post up for the GM to respond to when they peek in. If you're personally interested, I can provide some of my own experience with the character creation, since the limits are... well, extremely vague. To be fair, that's kind of necessary to preserve a sort of "over-the-top-anime-asskicking-adventure" type deal. Here's some relevant quotes from the original interest check that give you a fuller grasp of the base idea:
So this is an idea that I've tried to do a couple of times, and I think this will be my best attempt at it so far. The idea is pretty simple: your character is the most powerful champion that ever lived. Full stop. They've beaten the final boss, completed the last quest, and reached the maximum of their potential. But what happens when the game is over? The endgame begins. By means that I leave up to you, this ultimate character has ascended from their world into the place between worlds, and come face to face with champions from other worlds and realities that match their power. This can be done in any number of ways, from spiritual enlightenment, to artificial apotheosis, to anything in between. Point being, before you were a big fish in a small pond, and now you're a big fish in outer space. What do you choose to do now? Become a god? Destroy the gods? The possibilities are limitless, but so are the dangers. The wardens of time and space don't take kindly to trespassers. This is meant to be a power-trip fantasy adventure, full of characters who can unleash hilarious and ludicrous levels of carnage. It leans toward more anime-styled over the top action, with heavy elements of mysticism and religious esoterica. Influences (that I can think of right now) include K6BD (obviously), Morrowind, DOOM, and just about any over the top anime you can think of. I have a loose plot in mind, which can be adapted to whatever characters we come up with. The game will start will your characters "ascending," and then meeting in [REDACTED].

Simon is basically a perfect example of an Inheritor. A simple warrior that is able to tap into empowering metaphysical energies through willpower and enlightenment. In general, if the "endgame character" analogy isn't doing it for you, feel free to think of your characters as "anime protagonist in the last fight in the last episode with the OP playing behind them." The Anti-Spiral is also a pretty good example of what you all would be up against. A collective consciousness that has ascended to a higher state of being through negative evolution. I can start working on the OOC/CS soon, so I think you all should start thinking about characters. In general, the most important info I'm going to want from you is going to involve where your character is from (so, what their home world, race, culture, etc is like), what their journey has been like so far, and what has triggered their ascension. I'm leaving character options pretty wide open, but these are the two categories that characters will fall under: WHITE-SOUL INHERITORS, also called SUSTAINERS, are order-aligned beings with souls forged from the cool, white flame. They are destined to create, build, and maintain the universe. They do not die of old age, and are often born imbued with great powers, but they are typically creatures of habit that have difficulty breaking away from their "intended" purpose. Angels, Elves, Dragons, etc, are White-Soul Inheritors. BLACK-SOUL INHERITORS, also called PERCIEVERS, are chaos-aligned beings with souls forged from the warm, black flame. They have no pre-written destiny, and can excel at any pursuit or craft that they apply themselves to. However, they cannot live forever (though many go to great lengths to prolong their finite lives) and are usually born weak and vulnerable, and must earn their power throughout their lives. Devils, Humans, Goblins, etc, are Black-Soul Inheritors.
Though in the case of Simon, our characters currently won't be anywhere quite that strong starting out, but as an endgame...?
