For those who may wonder, the flag at the very top of the OP is [i]"The Cross of Burgundy"[/i]. Spain used this flag up to the 18th century. Charles III chose the flag below to represent Spain in 1785. Spanish Privateers ([i]Pirates[/i]) continued to fly the Cross of Burgundy well into the 19th century, as is the case with the [i]Castillo del Mar[/i].
