Almost always wearing his signature "snow cloak", named so for its wintry white and blue colors. If he's not in any active engagement or conversation, he generally has his attention on a book, scroll or parchment. Sharp-eyed observers may also catch a glimpse of the white fur of his partner, a shy little Pokemon that tends to hide herself within his cloak.

He keeps himself polite and cordial as possible around strangers. The last thing he needs is to make a bad impression. For friends or acquaintances, he maintains a jokey and easy-going demeanor. Of course, that's all during quiet and peaceful times. If battle breaks out, his light demeanor freezes into the cold and calculating persona of a cunning tactician.

Beyond that, being a foreign stranger to these lands, Caspian has yet to learn all of its traditions and nuances. He understands the basics of the Clans and the conflicts between them. But as for the specific histories and cultures of them therein, he is still in the process of learning.

Caspian was originally born to a family of merchants in the faraway Kingdom of Kalos. They were members of a prestigious Merchant Guild that sought to acquire rare and exotic wares from foreign regions, which of course sold for a premium in their homeland of Kalos. On one particular excursion, Caspian's father managed to obtain a snow-white Pokemon Egg from a faraway Island Nation. Still just a young adult at this time, Caspian was tasked with taking care of the Egg until a buyer could be found. But the Egg hatched into a white Vulpix, one that Caspian grew increasingly attached to. Eventually, instead of selling the Pokemon, it instead became his partner and best friend.

That news wasn't exactly welcomed by his father. He'd traveled far and went to great lengths to obtain that Egg, so to him it seemed a waste to allow his son to keep it rather than selling it as was his original plan. But Caspian was becoming well learned in their ways, and appealed to his father's sense of business. He offered to do extra work in order to earn the funds to buy the Pokemon himself. Just as he calculated, the arrangement was accepted.

Now an adult, Caspian has learned some mysterious powers after having spent so much time around Vulpix. In the beginning, he was only able to produce gusts of icy wind akin to Vulpix's Powder Snow, but the more Caspian observed the more he learned. He has since even been able to recreate the attacks of other Pokemon by way of observing them from a distance. His eventual decision to travel to Kanto was fueled by two motivations. One was because he had heard tales of others using similar powers in this land. The other was so that he could seek out some exotic Kantonian wares he could send back home to his family's business.
