She's not very well-endowed, sporting a somewhat meager BWH ratio of 15-15-17 if measured in inches and 38-38-43 if measured in centimeters, although to be fair, she's still young. What makes Shaakira stand out from a crowd, however, is the sheer amount of jewelry she wears on her person. In addition to her aqua-colored crop top, a long white skirt that reaches her ankles and brown sandals, Shaakira has a turquoise jewel hanging from a navel piercing, rings on both her index and middle fingers, several bracelets around both wrists, a pair of turquoise teardrop-shaped earrings, and a large beaded necklace to go with a somewhat simpler one in comparison. She's bright, cheerful and always engaging most any new face she comes across. A lot of that comes down to youthful optimism, as Shaakira's always looking for the next customer to procure, the next market to discover, the next adventure to go on or even the next Pokemon to befriend. All in all, Shaakira looks towards towards the future as opposed to staying within the moment or dwelling on the past.

However, she's still aware of the dangers that may lie ahead of her. Most notably, as she had been been targeted by burglars multiple times before, Shaakira has learned to watch for shady characters and keep an eye on them. Another thing Shaakira doesn't like is Pokeballs. She considers them to be evil inventions judging from how they're meant to work, and if she sees one being at a Pokemon, she'll try to catch it, kick it away or even jump in front of it and use her body to intercept her path. So how did she come into contact with Akeeta, her Parasect, one may ask? The old-fashioned way, of course. She befriended it and asked it to come with her on her adventures, and it obliged of its own volition. That's how it [i]should[/i] be, as far as Shaakira is concerned.

Shaakira stands by her beliefs as much as she can, but the one thing she values more than that is her life. She will often hide behind Akeeta should her caravan come under attack, and immediately look for an escape route. Failing that, she'll try to reason with the attacker and calm them down, hopefully before they inflict too much damage to Akeeta or kill it. Shaakira could never bare to lose Akeeta, and won't hesitate to abandon everything if it means keeping it and herself safe from harm.[/indent][color=91ffc6][sub][b]Biography:[/b][/sub][/color][indent]Dahara Village was a small, recently founded settlement in a desert adjoining the Kalos Region, and it was here that Shaakira el-Akbari was born. Life was rather dull in the developing settlement of Dahara Village so, once she was old enough to travel, Shaakira got out of the desert and began to explore the rest of Kalos Region. And then she got on a ship that was bound for Kanto. It was a journey to behold for young adventurer Shaakira... but unfortunately, it almost proved to be short-lived.

Apparently Shaakira was meant to pay coin before she could board the ship in question, whereas what she actually did was manage to sneak onboard while the others were queueing up. The ship had already set sail by the time Shaakira was discovered by crew members, who she was quick to run away from. Shaakira found herself stowing away in an old man's cabin the rest of the way to Kanto, and found herself having to listen to the old man's tale the whole way through. It turned out the old man was a merchant who knew a thing or two on alchemy. His tips would serve Shaakira quite handily later on in life.

Sure enough, the ship came to port at the Vermillion Settlement, and Shaakira, although she got told off by the crew members that had originally discovered her presence, was eventually allowed to disembark and get on with her self-made sightseeing tour. From there, she went to the Viridian Settlement, and then found herself exploring Viridian Forest. It was here that she first found Akeeta. It was originally a Paras when she brought it with her, but somewhere along the way it evolved, all the while continuing to bond with Shaakira.
