Dallas

| AGE | He awoke as a revenant about 7 years ago. Died as a human between the age of 30-35 years old. | APPEARANCE | He has the appearance of a man in his early 30s. His sturdy build suggests a physically active occupation when he was human. He has a slight hairline recession indicative of a man nearly past his prime. He has short black hair, brown eyes and fair skin darkened by the sunlight. He is 181cm tall. His face is like a statue, with a strong jawline and an expression that never seems to change until he goes to sleep. Dallas dresses like an off-duty construction worker, wearing off color combinations of t-shirts and pants with no eye for fashion. When he is out in the wild, he wears a black hoodless jacket made of polyester. There is reflective tape on it like the kind used by emergency services before the Great Collapse. His mask is a generic mass-produced model; a leftover from some revenant war. | PERSONALITY | Dallas is brave, sometimes stupidly so. He is like a wild animal charging at a train to keep his herd safe. A fatherly instinct demands he look after the well-being of others before concerning himself with his own injuries. He is the dutiful sort who will step in to protect weaker individuals. Unfortunately, his lack of self-awareness can lead him to get injured in unimaginable ways. Dallas is a reckless protector who needs another person around to clean up after him. | BLOOD TYPE | Type AB physical powerhouse. Could probably cleave an elephant in half with a large enough weapon. His strength, speed, and reflexes are exceptional. No particular specialties. Signature color: orange | BACKGROUND | Dallas was lost and alone for a short time after he revived, but he remembers being saved by a community of other revenants and humans. It was with those people that he learned how to fight the Lost and survive the miasma. Something separated him from them and now he can’t recall any of the names or faces he once knew. Repeated deaths wiped out an important chunk of his memories. He is currently a nomad, alternating between temporary living arrangements with various groups and wandering the blasted city in search of mistle. He is always hoping to find a connection to his lost past. | SKILLS / EQUIPMENT | Dallas has no interest in literature, but he does find it useful to look at burnt instruction booklets and faded technical manuals. He has accumulated bits of helpful knowledge here and there that come in handy at unexpected times. His current weapon of choice is an oversized axe. It was heavily used by a previous owner, as the shaft is covered in metal strips and bolts where it was once broken. If Dallas can find any battle tools he’ll keep them in his jacket, but that is a matter of opportunity. He mostly relies on his weapon and his brute strength in a fight. | LIMITATIONS AND WEAKNESSES | Dallas seems to tire a bit faster than the average revenant. There are possible explanations for this but none can be confirmed without scientific investigation. He gets weaker when fighting a long and difficult battle. He is an overprotective person. A good actor could easily lure him into a trap by feigning helplessness. The same might go for a child with evil intentions. He gets tunnel vision in the heat of the moment and gets blindsided by things he can’t anticipate.

Role in the team: The World's Strongest Custodian
Erik
🧡🧡 Respected leader. A role model in both character and strength. Dallas hasn't gotten to know much about Erik on account of being relatively new to the hideout, except that Erik might be one of the most benevolent revenants Dallas has met so far. The relationship between the two can't yet be called friendship, but there is a sense of loyalty from Dallas on account of his leader's philanthropism.
Ionna
🧡 A kid? A new arrival. She seems to be quite powerful, perhaps far stronger than Dallas, but she is just so tiny... Even if she can protect herself he might feel compelled to take a hit for her someday.
Ajax
🧡🧡 Reliable senpai. Dallas knows even less about Ajax than he does Erik, but to have been with the group since the beginning he must ultimately be a good person. Dallas sometimes finds himself probing Ajax on the matter of fighting techniques. The martial skill of a former Cerberus member is on another level compared to mere survivors like himself.
Akaia
🧡🧡 An odd acquaintance. Dallas tried to hold a lengthy conversation with Akaia once but wasn't able to break much ground due to a communication barrier. He never met any Sidhes before coming to this hideout, so he is curious to learn more about Akaia and her species.
Lysandra
🧡🧡 Run, it's the disciplinary committee! Perhaps it's because of how many times he's gotten hurt, but Dallas is always getting lectured by one of his only human teammates. He somewhat understands where Lysandra's concern comes from, so he doesn't feel annoyed by it. However, he has his own code to abide by. It is likely that Dallas will be giving her conniptions for a long time.
Vincent
🧡 An even more self destructive person. They just met yesterday, but Dallas is faintly aware of what kind of person Vincent is based on what the the senior members say about him. Though Dallas often ignores his rational side when people are in danger, it appears Vincent is a revenant driven entirely by instinct. All the same, the two may find common ground in the way they rush into trouble at the expense of the squad's sanity.
Desmond
🧡🧡 He's capable, but he's human. Desmond arrived not long after Dallas, so the two aren't complete strangers. Dallas goes on high alert when a human like Desmond is exposed to danger, especially since his eye is missing. After all, humans are far more vulnerable than revenants. It would hurt Desmond's pride if he was told to stay home though, so all Dallas can do is fight harder.
Cerise
🧡🧡 Kindness incarnate. She's too nice to everyone. It's impossible to treat her like a stranger. Dallas was awkward around the others when he first arrived at HQ, but that was quickly remedied by her hospitality.
Poppy
🧡🧡 Regularly schedules doctor visits. The two of them don't have too much in common, but Dallas spends a lot of time near Poppy after a battle due to his habit of getting torn up. Her medicine is one of the worst things he's ever tasted, but the others won't let him simply sleep his wounds off.
Edited March 2nd - Increased revenant age
