The most striking feature that Desmond has besides his amber eyes is his missing right eye. Which he lost during a fight with a Lost and wearing a black eyepatch over it. In his downtime, Desmond wears a white t-shirt with a black coat. With black cargo pants and running shoes.

His battle attire consists of a leather jacket and cargo pants. With a metal chest plate and wearing black combat gloves. Along with two armguards and metal shoulder pads.[/INDENT][/color]

[color=darkgray][INDENT] Desmond the youngest of two was born to a small human settlement. While life was not perfect by a long shoot for Desmond and his family in this landscape but it was their life and they were getting by in their settlement. His parents would teach them how to survive and how to fight. Along with other skills that the other people in the settlement would teach them. He would grow close to his sister and they would often spar with each other to help keep the other strong. For years it would be like this up until a large group of Lost attack. Despite the best efforts of the defenders, the settlement was overrun and in the chaos. Desmond was wounded and lost his right eye and his sister was badly wounded but, the two managed to escape. After finding a place to rest, Desmond tried to save his sister but, there was nothing he could do and she died in his arms. Only him to pass out due to blood loss. 

The next thing he knew, Desmond awoke up in an infirmary and it turned out. That a friendly group of Revenants had discovered the two and opted to bring them to safety and his sister was given a BOR parasite to turn her into a Revenant. Started as soon as her body was brought back, and Desmond had mixed feelings about this. While he was glad that his sister would live again, but seeing her turn into a blood-craving being that could turn into a Lost if not given enough blood. He is not quite sure about the whole thing and seeing how he is now in the custody of the Provisional government. With no home to return to and no knowledge of any other human settlement. Desmond elected to stay and wait for his sister to wake up.[/INDENT][/color]

[color=darkgray][INDENT] Keen scavenger - Years spent surviving within his home settlement and Desomand had picked up a knack for finding valuable salvage that can be used for other uses. 

Polearm Fighter - Due to the danger of the Lost and how fragile humans are to a Lost. Desmond had been taught how to use polearms for their reach, mainly his glaive. 

Firearms Expert - Along with a knowledge of what firearms his settlement had and since ammo was hard to come by. Desmond is a good shot with them, mainly rifles. 

Agile Fighter - Due to how fragile humans are to a Lost, Desmond has trained to be Agile with fighting a Lost. Even though he wears armor to protect himself, that is for the rare cases he takes a hit from a Lost. Otherwise, he fighters while staying on his feet.

Glaive - A steel glaive that Desmond uses as his melee weapon. 

Rifle - Desmond's personal firearm and slung on his back, it is a single-shot rifle that holds up to 30 shots before he has to reload. 

Knife - A steel knife that Desmond uses as a backup weapon if he loses his glaive and can be used for other purposes.

Armor -  Metal chest plate along with two armguards and metal shoulder pads.

[color=darkgray][INDENT] Poor depth perception - After losing his right eye, Desmond has had trouble with his depth perception.

Only Human - Being human and having limited regenerative abilities in comparison to a Revenant or Sidhe, 

Agile - Relies on agility than brute strength to fight when fighting Lost. [/INDENT][/color]
