As effective as a K-9 dog from Earth, but far more vicious. Outfitted with metal that is not torn apart easily by brute force and takes a ton of ammo clips before you can rip through its armor. Not only is it outfitted with armor, it also seems to have some form of shielding as well. Equipped with blade like claws, that tear through armor, and rip through flesh. It's teeth made from the same blade like material, with a bite force of a roided up dog. The Prowler were Cerberus' attempt to replace their KEI-9 with more effective units.[/color]

But it can sit still enough in an environment long enough that it looks like it is part of its environment. A lot more effective than a person tailing another person.
