[b]Background:[/b] Born in 1956, Simon Boone was born to a military family in Colorado, and lived a fairly standard life until graduating from UC Berkeley, at which point he began work on what he called the "Ghost Initiative": A secret military project designed to create Metahuman stealth operatives capable of infiltrating any top-level military base in the world. This was to be used to infiltrate high-level USSR facilities and steal classified information.

The project was abandoned as a colossal failure on the part of the U.S. Military, and funding was cut. Boone, however, would continue his work with his own money and on his own time, eventually perfecting his Particle Phase technology and using himself as the test subject. At which point he promptly fell through the crust of the Earth and falling "up" into Indonesia after regaining control of his mass.

With his experiment a success but the project abandoned, Simon Boone took on the alias "Geist" and worked as an independent agent during the fall of the USSR, claiming to have been a key reason as to why many countries defected before the Soviet block collapsed entirely. Afterwards, he would go on to fight crime in his home state of Colorado.

With the need for heroes more prevalent than ever after the Knull invasion, Simon Boone has now been contacted to work with the Prime Vanguard initiative.
