Maddies listened as the conversation continued. Sitting there quietly as he sipped from his glass of water, eyes glancing from one person to another as they spoke. His head tilted slightly as Colby began to ask about tea parties. Maddie hadn't followed at first, confused as to why Colby thought that tea party hosting was an inherited skill and not a learned one but then it finally clicked. Maddie looked around the diner once more, recalling that this wasn't guaranteed to be rebel friendly. It wasn't a speakeasy for those against the Dark Faerie like Gretel's bar was. 

Maddie was about to speak when the Waiter came back and began asking for their orders. He glanced back at the menu looking for something that sounded new but delicious. [Color=99CC00]"I'll have the Shakshuka please, and if possible a side of pita with marinated fennel."[/color] he took another drink of his water before sliding his hand back into Colbys.
