Gen-IX just announced with [i]Pokémon Scarlet[/i] and [i]Violet[/i] on the horizon. The starters are Sprigatito the Grass Cat, Fuecoco the Fire Croc, and Quaxly the Duckling Pokémon. It will be an open-world game more like [i]Breath of the Wild[/i] than [i]Legends: Arceus[/i] and the region will be based on Spain.

They deviated from the Fire starter theme with this one; although I'm warming up to Sprigatito—it's so adorable.
