My family was home Friday evening from vacation. Wednesday, the day we went skiing was 52 degrees and sunny. This might appear a good thing, but for winter sports, 25 degrees is the ideal temperature. I was dressed for a cold day and ended up sweating, it was so warm. On Friday, it was 12 degrees and it snowed. A drive that should have taken three and a half hours was four and a half hours due to the road conditions.

When we got home, I was unable to clear the driveway. The wife said it was going to be warm this weekend. Let the sun melt it. By Saturday, the snow on the driveway turned to ice. My son and I attempted to "score" the driveway with lines to help the sun do its thing. It took over an hour to just cut a few lines into the driveway. The weather was just uncooperative. Could have used the cold snowy day on Wednesday and the warm sunny day on Friday.

I have two other Roleplays ahead of this one that require my attention. I normally limit myself to one or two but am up to three at the moment. I do intend to make a simple post; a recap if you wish before the bar crawl on Day #3.

The weekend was productive at home, but not on RPG.
