Oh, no, I don't assume you're male at all. I'm just saying that the balance of probability, however slim, still goes in favour of male. Basically, if I had to choose one or I'd be killed (or something similar), I'd go with male for the reasons mentioned. But I wouldn't go as far with that information to actually assume that you were male; that would be...foolhardy.
