My Saintess is basically Pollyanna, always trying to make the best out of a bad situation, even if it meant putting on a fake smile. She believes whatever trials she encounters is a test from the gods, and as a Saintess, she has to overcome them all.

Another concept would be a more broken Saintess, where she has become akin to a broken puppet — a complete kuudere that doesn't show any emotions. Only once she was in the arms of someone she can trust that she can cry, and let out all those pent up emotions.
