Yes, quite a bit. Your mother and I are different species, but you guys are all your own. It's like... like if you mix chocolate syrup with milk, but each time you do it turns into a new flavor that's never been tasted before. You expect chocolate milk, but you end up with something more akin to neopolitan made with unknown tastes.
