He was abandoned at birth like so many others of his place. Despite being found out to not have a blessing, Parker did his best to fit and made no small effort to keep in the game with his superpowered peers. He always had a soft spot for people whose blessings (or lack thereof) made them miserable. He befriended a little sick girl (or so he thought at that time) named Celestine. Both of them endured together the dog-eat-dog ambient of the orphanage, and Parker even joked that they could eventually marry. However, to all things come an end. Celestine departed for a new life. Parker didn't. He struggled all alone in the orphanage. Eventually, his situation was taken over by an specific institution for those with defective or nonexistant blessings. The new environment gave Parker the respite he needed to fully develop as a person and his skills. As such, under the institution protection and tutelage, his skill grew in leaps and bounds, and he eventually ventured to take side jobs, as well as affiliating himself with the Vigilantes. The institution did turn a blind eye to these activities, knowing that any extra bit of money and skill would count. Parker, for his part, has aspirations to get a decent cushy job and a wife whose blessing doesn't kill him.
Powers:

Core Power:Godless: Richard Parker has no blessing. Nothing at all. He, however is both at the peak of fitness and mental skills.
1st "Power"-Jack of All Trades: Parker, from a very early age, has had to double down on learning new skills to compensate the blessings others have. As a result, he's skilled in a nearly staggering amount of diferent fields, like mixed martial arts, parkour, handcrafts, driving, cooking, basic mechanics... and the list goes on. Chances are, if it's useful for modern life, and it's a mundane utility that's not extremely specific (such as breaking science or military equipment), chances are Parker has a know how. Even if he doesn't, he knows a guy who knows a guy.

Relationships:

Celestine:"I thought they were a girl. They're still hauntingly beatiful regardless, and they are twisted beyond redemption... Our friendship seems to have cooled off thus."

Name:
Celestine Telamon Lightbringer,"Cel", "Bane of Clausewitz", "Jester of Kiburi."
Age:
15
Grade:
Mephisto 3rd year.
Biography:
Celestine was abandoned not long after they were born in this world. Discarded like trash because of their freak physical features, both boy and girl, they were taken in by an orphanage in Rhea. This allowed the strange child to survive... but their life was plagued by sentiments of rejection. The other children shunned them, and they were treated as unwanted weight upon the staff. Due to their seemingly impossible biology, they suffered from bouts of illness that nearly killed them before being five. Only one boy activedly befriended them, Parker. But he too, was a target of the bullies for he had been born without a blessing at all. Things seemed grim, until one day, a gentleman named Locke Telamon Lightbringer took the strange infant under their care. Their adoptive father spared no effort in their education, sending them to the prestigious Saint Laurel's school and doted on the child. However, it was clear that the light of Saint Laurels held a lot of shadows. Bullies found their way to torment Cel inside the school, and yet the ambiguous infant shouldered on, holding on the bliss he found at home that many other orphans could never have. Little did they know that their father had other plans in store rather than raising a heir. When they arrived at home during their 14th birthday, a betrayal awaited. Celestine was to be sacrificed to untold gods and powers in exchange of forbidden knowledge. Celestine snapped, their blessing awakening fully at once, and managing to overpower the evil sorcerer stepfather, seizing all of his assets in the process when he died as a result of their struggle. Frazzled and driven mad by the ordeal, Celestine tried then their chance at Clausewitz' school, intent on gaining martial prowess. However, when said school standards were deemed too tight for what they wished (to skip courses), the not-even-highschooler went on a rampage that sent 12 other students to the hospital, awakening a new power in the tribulation and gaining a new moniker. Disappointed, he instead tried their hand at Lord Kiburi's. Such school allowed him what he wished to do, as long as it was cool, but Celestine was unsatisfied. They had no desire to follow someone's trail, they were a trailblazer themselves. After admitting they had used Kiburi's project as stepping stone (much to the founder's hilarity) they quickly switched to a place that suited their needs the best, Mephisto.
Powers:

Core Power:Soul of Chaos: Celestine's soul is... different than most. It holds all the potential outcomes, yet none of it is determined. As a first effect, they are neither female or male, and both and the same time. It is unbound in the grand scheme of fate, and thus allows for things others cannot accomplish. Celestine is flat out immune to luck-altering, or fate effects (clairvoyance upon their actions gives back random static noise), and given that the mind is built upon the soul, mind altering effects are not unlike hitting water with a sword: It doesn't stick for long. Moreover, the Soul of Chaos allows for practicising arcane arts, being skills that warp the natural order. It can cause a feeling of revulsion on certain people and sensitive animals.
1st Power-Sorcery (Od): Sorcery is the use of one's own internal magical energy (od, another word for this kind of energy is Ki), to perform some pretty basic spells. Cel is adept at using the od to heal minor wounds, launch small blasts of energy, that hurt as much as a punch, and reinforce their body to resist some enemy attacks and not die at the first time someone kicks them hard. Od is also employed in a mage's favorite trick: Flight. Useful for getting away and launching overhead attacks. This is a secondary ability that is taught.
2rd Power- Ritual Magic: Ritual magic refers to the complex rituals and scriptures a mage has to use in order to manifest powers that otherwise their Od would not be able to. These usually involve painstakingly intricate circles, chants, and exotic components. Sure, Mages can rain blizzards and fireballs on top of people's enemies with the right catalysts, but such a bizarre display would flush out months of work and years of savings in pretty fireworks. For example, a fireball would require a desiccated salamander ritually sacrificed under a new moon and smoked in a 100 year old tree's wood, and making a Wall of Ice would require to carve a single block of pure ice made from a pristine spring, and then melt it with purifying salt. It is possible for her to make lasting enchantments and curses, although the time and effort involved in those is proportional. This is a secondary ability that is taught.
3rd-Power-Eye of Kairos: After so many struggles in their life, Celestine has awakened a sort of sixth sense that follows the ebb of battle. As battle is chaos, they can seamlessly navigate it down to an instinctual level. Martial arts and battle moves become trivial to learn and counter, and tactics are but an afterthought. As this is an introspective ability, it cannot be negated in the way all their other senses can. However, the strain of use will eat away their concentration after enough time, and give them crippling migraines and disrupt their magic.

Relationships:

Alyona::"My bestie. She seems to revel in inflicting misery as much as I do."
Parker:"We used to be childhood friends back at the orphanage. He was a decent guy. Then again he thought I was a girl. I would loathe to fight him."

[sub]"Hi, I'm Mina!" Height:6'6" including the horns[/sub]

Name:
Mina Taurus AKA "That stupid cow."
Age:
18
Grade:
Kiburi's 3rd year. (Almost Repeated, though.).
Biography:
Mina was born to an extremely wealthy couple who were the owners of a dairy cream brand. At first, she only had this odd discolorated patch on the crown of her hair, but the changes did not stop there. One day they found her literally eating daisies. Another day, a bushy tail sprouted from beneath her underwear. Bumps appeared on her forehead. And while her physical aptitude seemed to be off the charts, she was struggling in mental acuity. Normal parents would have been incovenienced, but would have cherished their daughter. Not these two. Despite the wholesomeness of food business these two were legit corporate sharks, of keen intelligence and hard hearts, and they could not bear the insult of having a dimwitted half-cow of a daughter. So they gave her into adoption at age 6. Mina initially struggled at the orphanage, but soon found solace in exerting her superior physical aptitude to be one of the ringleaders. While she wasn't outright mean to most people, she was quite forceful, and often treated other children as toys, imposing a one-sided friendship upon them. Well, except the thing named Celestine. They felt so wrong, Mina could not help but give the perp daily beatings as soon as they entered their sight, often dragging the hopelessly idiot Parker with them. She kinda gravited towards Suzakura, seeing a fellow strong figure. She always claimed they were both King and Queen of the Orphanage. He had a similar background to hers, so Mina stuck with him, no matter what the adults said. Once it was time to leave, she decided to attend Kiburi's... mostly because she failed every other school test because of her blessing. She almost repeated though, even though she watched the abomination known as Celestine skip all the way to third year before leaving the school. In more recent times, however... It seems her estranged parents are clumsily trying to reach her, once they had learned her blessing allowed her to craft a panacea of sorts. She rebuffs their advances, however.
Powers:

Core Power:Blessing of the Cow Goddess: Mina was blessed by a Goddess of Cattle and Wealth. As such both her external appearance (horns, tail, ears, and overall robust shape) and internal organs (she can subsist on a grass-rich diet among other things) are affected by bovine traits. It also knocked a few points off her IQ measurement, however.
1st Power-Bovine Might: Mina has all the strength of an Aurochs' packed in her body. As such, she is superhumanly strong and resilient. However, this makes her prone to be clumsy as she can't control her strenght so well.
2rd Power- Bovine Senses: Mina's senses of hearing and smell are greater than any human. She also has good night vision (because her eyes have a tapetum lucidum). However, this makes her a little colour blind. It doesn't affect her daily life but it gives her a horrible fashion sense. Her taste and touch are unaffected.
3rd-Power-Miracle Milk: Thanks to the blessing of the Goddess, Mina can craft a special milk who has the power to cure all ailments and wounds, as well as restore the imbiber to top shape (just like a certain anime's beans), unless they are lactose intolerant. Where does she get it from, she refuses to answer, but it is seemingly impossible for her to not have some at hand.

Relationships:

Celestine::"Abomination!!"
Parker:"He was always defending the abomination, but he wasn't that bad of a guy. He's now a hunk heeeh heee."
Suzakura: "He's my best friend! Also a huge jerk! But my best friend!" Her father, Arthur Drake, a geomancer, is a notorious tycoon with an appetite for new, raw resources and overthrowing goverments that he doesn't like. Drake Heavy Manufacturers is both seen with awe at the amount of worldwide money and clout it can muster, and the unrepentant bloodthirsty past it has. For Arthur Drake, originally hailing from Albion (not-Britain), everything was fair game. Even buying royal blood. That's how Carla Maressan de Vauquelin came into his life. Originally a disgraced wreck of a disowned princess found in a third-rate country watering hole struggling to get her next fix and booze to support her waning hedonistic drug-addled life, the ruined beauty was in turn turned into trophy wife for the enterprising businessman. From the union of a heartless businessman and a vapid, stupid princess who sought comfort in bottles and drugs rather than facing her own problems came forth Darla. Born in the lap of luxury, bereft of love. It was in this scenario when she caught the attention of a Crippled Blacksmith God, when in one of Carla's lapses of judgment, she dropped the infant on his head while being inebriated. Following said revelation, Darla grew up wanting nothing but love. Everything that could be bought, was at her finger tips. The best food. The best tutors. But her father was all about business, and her mother...even though he couldn't shake off the feeling of affection and yearning she had for her, did not quite attend little Darla as she should have. The most motherly thing was probably sometimes singing for her lullabies when she was sober enough for her to realize she had a little kid, and to nurse a wound or two. A harsh and unforgiving environment to grow up made Darla harsh and unforgiving. Not knowing the meaning of "No" for an answer, young Darla soon followed his father's footsteps, her gift having a tremendous synergy with the industrial and wealthy background of the family, and it all but set in stone that she would follow in his father's footsteps at the time. She was even gifted an entire city for him to manage at his 14th birthday, the city of BlackLake. Things, however, took a turn for the worse when the fall of Vauquelin struck. While for her father this had been a very profitable business, despite the fact they technically their in-laws, it turned poorly for her mother, as she was seen as one of the loose ends that needed to be executed. Darla then moved. It is uncertain wether this was true affection or a sense of defending one's possessions but the assassins sent to execute her own mother were brought to heel by Darla's creations. One by one, then were extinguished in gruesome experiments, as the appetites of the youth for more philosophical questions like the nature of the soul were sought with steel and cut flesh, with energy and charred organs. And so, It dawned upon her father a most disturbing realization he had nurtured a monster. Darla was everything he had wanted in a son and much more... It was an horrific and disgusting resounding success. Fearing for his future at the hands of the very child he raised, he sent her to Rhea, far from him, in a last ditch effort to at least teach her to fake, if not feel, empathy for fellow men and get a good PR image. Powers: Core Power - Ultimate Blacksmith: Darla was bestowed grace and power beyond mortal means to craft creations of metal and wondrous items, by none other than the god of the forge. As a side product she has an innate understanding for crafts and technology, but it has a huge caveat. For all the wondrous effects of her Blessing to take part, the creations she must assemble must be done by manual handcraft, while keeping automated processes to a minimum. First Power- Legendary Metals: Darla can bring forth to life metallic alloys of legend. Three are of special mention. Adamantine, similar to a blackened steel but nearly indestructible by normal means (it can withstand lava and anything but the most extremely offensive powers), Mithril who is both as durable as the most durable mundane alloy while weighing as little as the most lightweight metal; And Orichalcum, a copper-like substance of a silver-gold colour which has superconductive properties at room temperature and most, importantly, it can react to powers channeled due to gifts, creating gear that enhances existing powers. Only Darla's gift can bring these alloys into existence, other people who somehow steal her recipe will find themselves with mundane alloys. Second Power- Divine Armaments: Darla is able to hand-craft legendary weapons with the same ease people do wood carvings on small wood logs. Due to the heavy manual involvement, each item is a one-of-a-kind, and thus they have unique properties worthy of an unique name. A side effect of this power is that Darla can destroy Legendary weapons with her handcraft with the same ease one breaks down a failed pottery, being able to get raw materials out of the deed. Darla requires a certain amount of time to craft one, from weeks to months. She can hot-rig something in a few days or hours but it'll fall apart after a couple of uses. Third Power- Spark of Talos: Darla's divine arts allow her to create life itself out a forge. Sentient automations who look up at her with reverence and near unshakable loyalty. They are capable of feeling and reason, and they can eventually rebel if Darla goes out of her way to abuse them for a prolonged period of time. After being made aware of this fact, Darla has built her automatons ever since with a Kill Switch. Currently she has two of such constructs. Heavy duty Jet, with Adamantine chassis and suited for combat, and Pearl, with a lightweight mithril chassis for mundane tasks. Relationships: Vera Goh: A gorilla with money? Or is it a sow? Ugh. I cringe at her presence, but I must be polite. Until I can buy her family's company. Wolf: Who? Ah, the Pink head's attachment. Forgettable. Might be worth to parade as toy. Maybe. Andras: I don't know half of the names of these beggars. Stop. Cel: Ugh. Disgusting little mishap of nature. They have potential, but I'd rather keep them outside my presence. Parker: Eternal Gopher. I can make a dozen like him with my gift, so why bother? That being said, he's perky. Ken: He's royalty? Good lord, Izumo really needed that revolution. Better not tell his uncle is one of our VIP clients... Possibly henpecked husband in the making? Erisse: Idealistic. Cute. Her powers are useful. Maybe I should break her into servitude to be a carrier. Suzakura: Probably the closest thing to respect? I still want to strangle him for his lecherous disrespect but gotta admire his spunk. Frenemy? Is that a thing, even? Mina: Overflowing with abundance. I don't know where she buys her bras. Can heal wounds. Mind bogglingly stupid, and her parents insist she's on the same level as me. Well, maybe I can make use of her. Michael: Come to think, my creations need fancy paintings. Maybe I should commission him... A nude maybe? Duke: Fellow 3rd year. Rags to Riches and riches to rag. Bit of a street rat. Maybe If I entice him with the right cheese he would be useful. Oh yes, he could be at my feet squirming. Chinami: She would be a great sidekick if she wasn't such a mongrel. Oh and that stupid Suzakura is after her. Misery draws misery. Alyona: Fellow Royal blood. Completely cursed. I might feel like helping her. Might. Rev: Cousin... don't overdo it. You're probably the only one besides mother I care about.
