Oh I heard it all. It sustained me. Anyone who was upset by a movie portraying a 13 year old as drawing romantic fanfiction art doesn't know what 13 year olds are like because if anything Turning Red turned it [i]down[/i]. The review was awful because the guy is in effect saying "Yeah I can relate to cars and rat chefs and fish more than I can a character who is a 13 year old Asian-Canadian girl" as if people from all walks of life can't relate to that awkward part of youth when you are at your most cringe and also have well meaning if overbearing parents.
