[hider=Chapter 1: He Was Tender Hearted][indent][i]The story of Magnanimous begins not too long after the Vanburen family gathers themselves together after the curse begins. [b][url=https://www.roleplayerguild.com/posts/5345682]Oscar[/url][/b] gathers the family together to address their curse, stating that he had made contact with two Supernatural experts and invited them over: [b][url=https://www.roleplayerguild.com/posts/5345682]Tuyen Đoàn[/url][/b] and [b][url=https://www.roleplayerguild.com/posts/5345652]Justin Liào[/url][/b]. The rest of the family voiced their skepticism at their age, but they entertained the two for the time being. Tuyen asked for the bathroom, being escorted by the servant [url=]Arabelle Matthews[/url]. While she was inside, Arabelle [/i]very noncreepily[i] used her abstraction to view the bathroom. That's where she saw "Tuyen" let in a strange cult where they used their own abstractions to hide their presence. Tuyen and Arabelle went back to the meeting where the family was grilling Justin on how to solve the curse and it seemed like Justin was giving the family the run around. 

Because he was. 

As it turns out, the two were imposters sent by a cult based in Araminta known as the Wiccans who worship an. The Wiccans had impersonated the two before sneaking into the Vanburen estate with the intentions of acquiring the Horned God - a being that James had imprisoned years ago. The plan went south when the real Justin and Tuyen arrived... and the two impersonators were revealed to be Daniel Forsycthe and Tegan Rose-Hill (Check Wiccan hider in the NPC list). They distract the Vanburens with a wave of water and then attempt to escape but Daniel ends up being captured by the Vanburens and interrogated. Tegan returns to the Wiccans and reports to their leader, Morgan Rose-Hill, and she splits the Wiccans up into two groups: Morgana and two Wiccans who go back for Daniel and the rest search the manor for the Horned God. Morgana summons her hellhounds and then launch an assault on the Vanburens and after a brief battle, they get Daniel and then retreat. 

They are followed by [url=https://www.roleplayerguild.com/posts/5347130]Shane[/url] and Justin; where they briefly engage the leader and the two before they retreat again. Meanwhile, Arabelle goes back to the bathroom to look for the Wiccans and ends up making contact with the Wiccan Thea Barnes after knocking out Samantha Stone. Thea and Arabelle manage to negotiate where Thea explains that she's attempting to stop a being known as the Triple Goddess who has enthralled her friends. She explains that, with the Horned God, the two will be unstoppable and become a major threat and from there they work out a deal. Eventually, Arabelle acquires the Horned God and then teleports out of the manor. 

The battle rages on until the Triple Goddess detects the Horned God is gone and provides a distraction for the Wiccans to escape into a portal. The Vanburns begin their meeting with Justin again where he explains his experience and desire to assist them with their issues, but states his frustration with a lack of information and options. Their meeting goes on until they agree to figure out which artficat in James manor has an apparition and hide it within [url=https://www.roleplayerguild.com/posts/5347267]Georgie's[/url] garden. Meanwhile Shane, Oscar, and [url=https://www.roleplayerguild.com/posts/5345652]Sabrina[/url] venture out into Araminta to locate the Wiccans, and end up in a bar. Where a bartender, after being generously tipped, explains how the Wiccans hide out in the woods.
