...It is at this point that I should probably mention that I did just roll randomly to see what pairs we'd end up with if we go with that route, and it turns out Nathaniel is stuck with Julian, so he's gonna have a [i]rollercoaster[/i] of emotions if we go with that.

To be honest, I do like the idea, though -- getting stuck with the one person who will NEVER leave her alone until he gets his rematch -- which obviously she can't do without exposing herself as a rank amateur and basically publicly admitting that she's unworthy of a spot in the knights and her victory was just a fluke -- while also having to hide the fact that she's a girl. Plus when/if he does figure her secret out he's gonna have a wild ride trying to figure out whether it's more honorable to prove himself by beating her, or if he can't do that because an honorable knight isn't supposed to hit girls.
