"I'm not scared!" He huffed angrily, "Just being cautious. I don't like the way things feel in here." If even the super powerful adventuring team got beaten to bits while they were in here what hope did they have against something that came their way. Storm's fur was fluffed up and as much as he tried to say that he wasn't scared the wideness of his eyes as they darted around gave him away to Sora as he walked up. He nodded in agreement with Lumi, "I think that's a good idea. Even if we could I don't know that we'd be able to pull it back through that crevice we came through." He looked around the room for their baby brother. He couldn't see him at first glance, but he was pretty small and the crystals cast a strange light across the floor. "Come on Cane we're leaving!" He called out into the room, flinching a bit as it echoed a bit too much for his liking. He waited a moment and started to get nervous when he didn't immediately hear or see his brother. It was quickly abated though as the small form came bounding out of the shadows towards them. He gave his brother a smile and began to trot back towards where the crevice was with the others shortly behind him. He turned to say something to Storm when he saw Cane still staring up at the stone they had been looking at. "Hey Cane come on, we need to get home before-," "Don't touch it!" Storm screamed out next to him just as Cane's paws came to rest on the smooth surface of the stone. There was a moment of silence before they all had to flatten themselves against the ground as a burst of energy pulsed off the stone, though mostly concentrated on their baby brother, and an agonized scream could be heard. It was not a sound that Sora ever wanted to hear any of his family make and knowing it came from Cane made his stomach roil. He pushed himself back up, despite feeling like he was about to be sick and took a few steps towards where the stone was. The light in the room almost seemed dimmer as he watched his brother writhe on the floor with dark shadows appearing to bleed off of him. He let out a choked noise as he watched the shape of Cane begin to swell and distort. The screams he heard shifted into low growls and Sora took a few steps backwards, eyes wide with fear and panic.
