And yet things still were not at all ideal. It bothered Eun-Ji, who had perceived of her own performance as non-optimal. Yet again she came under the effect of someone's Internal Chemical magic; three times in about a week now. And this time, she might have been killed if not for the timely arrival of Zeno Lascand who had come to her aid. This had definitely put a lot of things into perspective for her. For all the spartan trainings that had sharpened her into a highly effective weapon of death and destruction for Cheol Sang-nam and Tan Keoul, she remained helpless against this particular method of attack. A flaw that had proven itself to be potentially fatal. She was sitting on her bed in her room in the Castle, forgoing her usual dawn-time exercises and meditations in favor of a personal introspection. She sighed. This will not do... Magnetic magic, huh... She considered it in her mind, the necessity of learning more deeply about Magnetic magic. Of course, as a trained mage, she had some capabilities in all of the five magic disciplines. Yet she had always been very focused in her training, and thus her understanding of Magnetic, Binding, and Chemical magic were all very basic. It will be quite a difficult task for someone like her to attempt to improve herself in a third discipline of magic... And yet she realized that she really needed to do so, lest she remain completely vulnerable to Internal Chemical magic. At the end of her introspection, it is then decided that starting from this very day, she will take it upon herself to spend some time in learning Magnetic magic. She started immediately, reading over some texts she had in her possession regarding the topic, understanding the need to always start from the most elementary: the theories. A few hours passed by, and then she stopped her study. The time to reconvene with Manfred had came quite close, and it was also a matter of great import. She had promised her commitment toward investigating the so-called Blood Magic course with Manfred after all, and she fully strove to stick to her promise. And thus she left her room, and went off at a brisk pace to where they were supposed to meet.
