Hey folks, it's your friendly neighborhood heathen!  Just to get my brain working, I'm going to throw out a few ideas and see if I get any bites.

As usual: medium to full depth, I forgive typos, and my themes/writing can get dark and adult.  If you're not over eighteen or comfortable with that, then you're probably not the partner for me.  I also work a [i]lot[/i] and sometimes will not reply for a couple days - you can thank work, school, and my mental health for that.  Despite the gaps, I will keep in contact.

As a note: I only write female roles, I'm trash at writing as male or anything in-between.  With that said, I don't care where your character falls on the gender or bio sex spectrum!

Onward!

1. A string of violent murders has been happening within a small town, mostly being called "animal attacks".  Local law enforcement/rangers or even something higher on the command chain knows that it isn't being done by animal nor human.  Suspicion falls upon a drifter that showed up around the same time, but can they work together to keep the town safe?  (This idea can definitely expand into world building!)

2. A war is rising on the horizon.  A royal/noble seeks a warrior that has made a name for themselves as a war hero, offering his daughter's hand in marriage to unify military prowess and secure his place within the courts.  Little does her betrothed know that this young woman is more than she appears and may play a large part in securing victory and honor for the kingdom.  (Obvious fantasy elements here, and obviously non-humans are welcomed!)

3. Time travel!  A woman pulled back in history or someone pulled forward by several different means.  Artifacts, spells/curses, etc.

4. During a dig/construction, hidden chambers are found that had been wiped clean from history.  Ancient power locked away, kept from the world until those with the knowledge to awaken the entity within, leaves those who discovered it a choice: free the sleeping being in the tombs or seal it back away forever.  (I have a few ideas for this, two of which being a dragon or an earthbound angel.)

5. Rumors have swirled for years that the militaries all over the globe have been performing experiments to create super soldiers.  What if it were true?  Serums that change a person into something else entirely exist, but so do the cruel things these experiments have endured.  With the technology advancing, can it be safe to let the public know about it?  (I have a character in this program.  Opposite her could be a handler, another experiment, a scientist, etc.)

6. Caught in a trap, a shifter is unable to get the powerful jaws off or snare free. At the mercy of the elements, will the one who finds her choose mercy or murder?
