[indent][color=#89CFF0][sup][b]HER STORY[/b][/sup][/color][/indent][indent][indent]Calea was born the only child to an upper-class household comprised of a Council member of the Magus Librarium, and a traveling healer. They were endlessly busy and barely got to see much of their daughter, but loved her nonetheless.

Perhaps they might have loved her too much. Isolated within the [s]confines[/s] safety of their manor estate, there was not much for a young Calea to do with her time. Reading books, meeting tutors, and going for jogs around the estate were her main pastimes, all of which contributed to her yearning for [i]more[/i] out of her life. After many long years of a completely sheltered childhood, Calea had grown fond of the art of cooking. The activity was introduced to her one day when her caretaker could not make it to the manor at the very last minute. It was an opportunity she took to try something new for once in her life - a decision that led to her destiny forming right then and there as she took a bite out of her first homemade dish. Yes, it was crappy, but eventually, she got better. Much, much, much better. Calea's time and effort were lovingly poured into all the dishes she set out to make, recreate, and discover. Tasting food, combining different menus, and even creating her own recipes were the joys of her lonely homebody life. From local to foreign cuisines, and patisseries from near and far - all of them found a special place in her heart that only expanded after each new bite.[/indent][/indent]

[indent][color=#89CFF0][sup][b]WHY HOSEFORN ACADEMY?[/b][/sup][/color][/indent][indent][indent]After enough begging, Calea's father, Benjamin Fallard, reached out to connections within the academy to give his daughter a chance to further her magical studies and increase her arcanic potential via formal education. Though he was fully aware of her culinary antics, he placed full faith in one of the most renowned students of the Magus Librarium-- Ixius Delthrane, to look after his daughter while stationed at the academy.[/indent][/indent]

By combining her own mana with her dishes, she can easily transfer magical energy into the very molecules that make one's tastebuds dance. An intricate sort of arcanic food chemistry that has been achieved through only passion (and perhaps tunnel-vision). Those who eat her food will find that they not only provide energy and a great dining experience, but also positive buffs such as attack, stamina, and mana boosts. 

[color=#89CFF0]❧ POTION-MAKING:[/color] Essentially drinks and concoctions imbued with magical properties. Calea enjoys the art of drink-making, otherwise known as Mixology, just as much as cooking. As such, she's grown quite familiar with it.

[color=#89CFF0]❧ MANA CONTROL:[/color] A concentration skill that naturally came along with imbuing mana into food. Calea is able to accurately regulate her mana, understanding how much to apply or remove from any given source.

The magic is essentially downgraded to accommodate for her lacking mana, making them less nutritious, filling, and tasty. 

[color=#89CFF0]❧ MAGIC DESTABILIZATION:[/color] If Calea's mood is erratic, it can often alter the magical properties present in her food if she is not careful. Sometimes the effects may cause unexpected effects. Sometimes they can even backfire completely! Channeling mana into food is an intricate art-- one that ultimately requires strength in concentration and mental calm.[/indent][/indent][/hider]
