Jesse laughed at Poppi’s response to her joke. She observed the damage against Red Eye and the swarm of flying, exploding, big headed enemies. If they destroyed the train, this whole thing was over. There were a few close calls, but fortunately no one was severely injured yet. The newcomer, a cyborg with a sword, was doing some work that caught Jesse’s eye in particular. Everyone did their part but yeah, new heroes could be trusted. Still, the Director imagined that the status quo wouldn’t last long if they didn’t start making more progress. Jesse exhaled with satisfaction as the big cannon let itself rip into the giant Red Eye’d beast. That wasn’t the end, not even close, but it sure as shit did some damage. She glanced over at Raz, who for a moment seemed to be struggling with the gore. “Keep it together, kid.” She said with a small smile, though what she was smiling at was a little unclear. This train fight was something else! Now the giant monster was right upon them, so close she could practically reach out and touch it. They had moments to act, and the cannon wasn’t aimable anymore. They had to get the monster to back off. The idea seemed to be a boarding party. Poppi asked her if the cannon was ready to fire. “Nope.” Jesse responded, popping her ‘p’. Jesse decided to help reload the cannon. The minions were dealt with for now and while she dealt good damage over all, she didn’t have any big, high damaging moves that had long cooldowns which is what they needed to get this thing to budge. As soon as the cannons looked like they were about to be finished reloading, she’d hop back into the cockpit and prepare to make the appropriate adjustments. If it backed up a short amount, she’d aim for it’s mouth so the cannon would fire inside and not damage the train of the people on it. If it backed up really far, she’d try and hit the same spot the cannon hit earlier…unless it looked like the boarding party Seekers might still be there from their targeted attack. In that case she’d aim for its mouth again.
