[hider=Arriving to Hoseforn's]There was a commotion outside the academy walls as three horses rode towards the main gate. Two with single riders, a female and male, riding on either side of a horse with two riders. The commotion was about one thing in particular, the girl with long pink ears and tail riding behind the white haired boy. No one has seen anything like her before and it was clear that they were all interested. It was an afterthought that a famous Adventurer was escorting them. 

This was the reason they were escorted, Fenros and his wife Tanya wanted to make sure they were safe on the road. The route they chose so Selena could see the country. Though every small village they passed it was the same thing, they were the center of attention because no one had seen a Kitsune before. 

Not that Selena noticed. She was so entranced with seeing all the new sights, sounds and smells; the stares didn’t bother her. Her arms wrapped around Finn's waist as she tilted her head far back, so far that if she let go of Finn, she would have fallen off the horse. Her eyes wide open amazed by the sheer size of the walls. None of the walls of her island were ever that big. Her nose twitched as she smelt something delicious. Her tail flicked back and forth as her head followed her nose. Till she saw a booth with smoke coming from the side of it, meat was sizzling on sticks over it. 

She was about to ask if they could try it but before she could they came to a stop. She looked over to Mrs. Reinheart as she spoke up. [color=CDCDCD]”My goodness, it’s been a while hasn’t it? “[/color] She said looking towards her husband. [color=CDCDCD]”It’s hard to imagine Ms. Maya, and Ms. Rickter, still teaching here all these years. I doubt they wouldn’t even recognize us.“ [/color]  

[Color=2537BB]” That’s probably true, you’ve somehow gotten even more beautiful over all these years.” [/color] Fenros said with a smirk. 

Finn closed his eyes and let his head drop.[color=0E7609]"DAD. Come on, you just had to wait ten more minutes before being weird again." [/color] He said, slightly exhausted. This only gained a hearty chuckle from his father and giggles from his mother. Selena just smiled thinking it was adorable how Finn's parents loved each other and often showed their love just to make things awkward around Finn.

 [color=CDCDCD]”You know he had to get one more in Finny…“[/color] His mother said before reaching over and almost pulling Finn off his horse with a hug. At which Finn grew embarrassed at all the onlookers. .[color=0E7609]” Mom!”[/color] .[color=CDCDCD]” Oh come now, you can spare your mother a final hug. You are my baby after all.” [/color] She said quickly before Finn let out a huff and allowed her to hug him a moment longer. Before she turned to Selena. 

.[color=CDCDCD]”You be safe. If you need anything, don't be afraid to write to us. Ok? [/color] She said as she reached over and gave Selena a hug as well. To which Selena returned it, holding back a tear. She had never received this much love from her own mother...she never remembered a time when she actually hugged her own mother. [color=FF3AD9]”Yes… I write many letters...I make Finn good too!”  [/color] She said with a big smile, with her tail sweeping from side to side. Her smile only grew bigger with Finn groaning to himself. 

Finn's mother gave Selena a smile and let out a shuddering sigh. Holding back her own tears. Fenros gave his son and Selena a smile and a nod each before Finn clicked his tongue and urged his horse forward into a walk through the front gates. 

Selena looked back to see Finn’s parents watching for a moment before turning away themselves. She could feel Finn taking a few deep breaths as he prepared himself. A few moments later they stopped in front of a stable, at which Finn kicked his right leg over his horse's head and slid off the left side. Turning around and holding the stirrups while patting his horse's neck. Looking at Selena as she slid off the left side with a tiny oof.

He then pulled his bow off the right side of the horse's saddle and spun it over his right shoulder with a well practiced motion, easily hooking to the loop on his back. While he did this Selena pulled her small pack, as well as Finn’s while he spoke to the stable boy. Once done he grabbed his own bag and when he was ready he thanked the stable boy who didn’t seem to notice as he stared at the pink haired kitsune. The two made their way to the main entrance. 

Selena walked close to Finn on his left side, Her ears twitching almost to every sound. It was a lot to take in at first. When they entered the main doors and saw the enormous Crystal her eyes were bright at her amazement. Especially when she noticed it was talking. She quickly grabbed onto Finn's prosthetic arm and shook him slightly asking in her own tongue excitedly. as she glanced at Finn and back to the crystal. [color=FF3AD9] [i]What is that large crystal called? How is it talking?![/i] [/color] 

Finn smiled and shook his head, answering her in her same tongue. [color=0E7609] "I...not know. I not seen …rock… like that. [/color] He looked to the other students who were offering it their acceptance scroll. [color=0E7609] [i]"Give itletter..[/i]"[/color] He said, pulling his own acceptance letter out and shaking it in his hand. 

Selena nodded and quickly pulled it out, making her way to an open both as she dragged Finn along with her into it. Causing Finn to redden at how close they were together on the pedestal. But it seemed to not bother Selena. 

[color=FFC0CB]"Greeting's new student. I am Athena. Welcome to Hoseforn's Academy for Gifted Adventurers. Please present your acceptance scroll now."[/color]

Selena quickly unrolled the scroll and presented it with both hands as flat as she could. Then outstretching her arms as far as she could she nearly placed the letter onto the crystal, showing it to Athena [color=FF3AD9] Is..Is this.. [/color] She was about to ask if it was good to see when she let out a loud Yip when she was cut off by a light that scanned her letter. 

[color=FFC0CB]"Letter accepted. Welcome Selena Vixen."[/color] Selena and Finn watched as Selena’s acceptance letter changed before them into a map. 

[color=FFC0CB]"This is a map of the school grounds, your dorm number is 658. A fresh uniform and any supplies you require will be waiting for you. At the moment they are still being prepared. If you wish to freshen up, please feel free to use the public baths. Then please report to Main Hall within an hour and a half for the welcoming feast. Attendance is mandatory."[/color]

Selena frowned. Looking down at herself and sniffing clearly confused with a frown on her face.. [color=FF3AD9]”I smell?  How I smell?” [/color] Her face reddened when she realized she said that so close and in front of Finn. [color=FF3AD9] “I swear, I bathed in river this morning!” [/color] She said, embarrassed. 

This only made Finn turn red and scratch the back of his head. [color=0E7609] “You smell just fine Selena.  I’m sure it’s just the same message for all students.[/color] Not that he tried to sniff her. He could smell the herb soap she had used this morning. Quite easily.

He quickly offered his acceptance letter to the crystal as well, hopefully proving to her his theory. 

Thankfully it was. The only change was the room number of 656. Finn let out a breath as they exited the booth. The two of them make their way out of the way of those behind them. Passing as many interesting people as they did. 

Selena was glad there was a feast soon. She was already hungry. But perhaps she would take that bath beforehand to relax. And to make sure she really didn’t smell and Finn was just being nice. The mention of a bath though made her long for the baths back home...the large hot springs that felt so good.

She then looked at Finn [color=FF3AD9]” I fresh up.I… Meet in front of talking stone before dinner. Here” [/color]Selena said as immediately dropped her bag onto Finn and went to find the baths. wanting as much time as she could to make sure she didn’t stink.

Dinner was great, for the most part. There was a lot of good chicken and good wine she had never tasted before. The people at her table were very nice, and she enjoyed their company…that is till a human from another table who didn’t like the fact she was different decided to pick on her. She never experienced bullying before coming to the mainland, and it had made her quite upset. Finn nearly decked the man after he purposefully ‘accidently’ dumped his food on her, and knocked her into the table causing her to hit her head. But the teachers were there to stop him before he did, instead directing them to have a duel instead to settle things. She didn’t care about that, she just wanted to leave afterwards. Finn came along as well to take her to her room.

But during that time, he helped her calm down a bit…trying to cheer her up as they walked. Which worked, and she did feel better by the time they got to her room. 

Finn had opened the door for her when they got to her room.  [color=FF3AD9]” Thanks you.” [/color] She said as she entered her room. Her long ears perked up and eyes widened with wonder. The room was really big, and there was already a cozy fire lit. She saw her bag on the bed near the window and balcony but she didn’t move towards it. [color=FFC0CB]“Welcome Selena Vixen.”[/color]

Selena yipped in surprise as she heard Athena.  [color=FFC0CB]“This will be your dorm room for the foreseeable future. There is a bathroom in the door to your right that you and your roommate may share if you do not wish to use the public baths. While sleeping in the dorm room is not strictly required, sleeping in any non sanctioned area of the school is forbidden and may result in disciplinary action.”[/color] 

Finn made his way to the bathroom and motioned her to come with him. Which she did. She was shocked to see a large tub with long brass pipes that seemed to lead too and from it. She was ‘used to’ Finn’s home where they had a more humble tub and well where they would heat buckets of water with rune magic. [color=FF3AD9]” Where bucket?.” [/color] asked as she looked around. Finding very soft and fluffy towels, which she immediately rubbed her cheek on. 

Finn chuckled. [color=0E7609]”It looks like it’s piped in.”[/color] He said as he reached for one of the levers. Selena turned around to see the water suddenly gush out of the lower pipe. 

[color=FF3AD9]”What?!”[/color] She said, her eyes wide as she dropped the towel and rushed over as Finn put the rubber plug in the drain. Nearly knocking him in as she looked over his shoulder and reached out to touch the water. Eyes wide as it was already hot. [color=FF3AD9]”Is there hot spring?[/color] She said as she was now leaning on Finn, essentially pinning him to the side of the tub.[color=FF3AD9] “But we on no…mountain.”[/color] She only knew of the hot springs in the mountains in her home. 

[color=0E7609]”I don’t know how it works Selena. I assume magic.”[/color] He said as he turned his head to look up at her. Her hair instantly in his face. Which was great, as it covered his red face. [color=0E7609]”Ill let you get settled in, there are hampers to put your clothes in, so I imagine they will clean that food off your clothes.”[/color] he said as he pushed himself…as well as her up from the edge of the tub slowly. 


[color=FF3AD9]”Oh..”[/color] She said, quickly realizing she was basically laying on him and pulled back, quickly returning to her dropped towel to hide the fact she was now red. [color=FF3AD9]”Yes, thanks you Finn. I see you to-tomorrow?”[/color] 


[color=0E7609]”Of course. You get some sleep ok? Dont spend all night in the tub.”[/color] He said with a chuckle.

[color=FF3AD9]”I fell sleep once in tub… I learn from mistake!”[/color] she said a firm tone, and a pout on her face. Her tail flicking back and forth. He certainly liked to tease her about doing it at his home. She was used to hot springs, not a tub which got cold if you fell asleep in it. 

[color=0E7609]”Just making sure!”[/color] Finn said as he moved to the door. [color=0E7609]”Have a good night Selena.”[/color]

[color=FF3AD9]”Oyasuminasai”[/color] She replied, dropping the towel from her chin to her lap as she watched him walk out of the room. Sighing, she turned to look at the tub filling up before starting to get undressed.
