Typhon stands at a reasonable 5’ 10” (not counting the horn) and is fairly lithe. Often focusing on dexterity and speed over strength in his line of work.

While not being anywhere near as powerful as it was back in his prime days before the Alcatraz, it's still a fantastic maneuver in a pinch. Before he was able to cloak himself in flames to protect himself and make him deadly in close combat. Now though he can only use it by lighting himself on fire and using large amounts of his now limited mana to sustain it and avoid burning himself. Incredibly useful as a last ditch effort but too draining and resource consuming to be used in a non-emergency.

Part of the reason he has his specialized plasma rifles. His control is much more limited now but he is still able to arc and adjust the projectiles from his rifles in a way that can confuse or sometimes bypass defenses of opponents.

Despite being the family disappointment, and proud of it, Typhon has more than let his heritage get to his head. He is pompous and arrogant to a tee, often prioritizing his own benefit over others. Unless of course helping others specifically results in him gaining something as well. He’s always been good at never letting people's words get to him, whether it be his parents or anyone else who tried to judge his actions. This could be a very commendable trait if it wasn’t for the fact that this allows him to do whatever he wants without worrying about others opinions.

Growing up Typhon was raised as the youngest child of six in an influential family on Vai’Ralu. His parents had high hopes for him just like they did all their children, but were quickly disappointed by his aloof attitude and general disrespect. He was considered even more inadequate to them due to the fact that he just couldn’t seem to gain control over his attunement, having first discovered it by nearly burning the house down in his sleep. After that they cracked down on him severely with his education and bringing in a renowned fire attuned mage to help him control his magic. Often leaving him in the care of his teachers or their servants and focusing on their jobs instead.

As Typhon grew up he began to truly resent his family. His parents for the harsh treatment and neglect he endured and his siblings for trying so hard to get the attention and approval of their parents. As soon as he got the opportunity he grabbed as much money as he could without drawing attention and left his home behind. After sneaking off the planet he found jobs that he enjoyed and trained his attunement on his own terms, which proved much more effective than the rigid training he was subjected to before. It wasn’t long before Typhon found his first link in the criminal underground and for the first time felt at home.

Taking jobs where he could, it took awhile for him to find the career that carried him to where he is now. An assassin for hire. Using the money he earned to increase the variety of his arsenal and purchase a personal ship, becoming a respected and feared assassin dubbed the Azure Demon due to the blue flames he’d often use during fights. During one particularly troublesome job he even lost one of his horns in the fight, not that he minded. It was painful sure but he felt it added a little bit of character.

Not long ago he took a job that changed his life forever. It was simple, take out an Arraxi emissary on a diplomatic mission on another planet. It was almost too easy, he took out the target, slipped away from the guard and was almost home free until he was suddenly surrounded by law enforcement. Turns out they had gotten a tip on some potential terrorist activity and the target he took out was a lookalike to draw out the culprits. He was arrested and charged with his previous jobs as well as this attempted assassination, as well as terrorist ties due to his most recent employers. When his parents showed up to the trial he thought he was safe, assuming they’d use their power to deal with this themselves rather than risk losing face. So it was an even bigger slap in the face when they were the ones to suggest the Alcatraz as his punishment.
