What Hurly said next proved to be an important clue and one he wished he had gotten a bit earlier."[color=#ffd700] You said the robberies have only been done while Robbie is manning the station?[/color]" If this is true then it only makes him wonder why they simply hadn't set up better watch whenever this Robbie was on the cameras or given him a different job. Either the staff's loyalty were keeping them from suspecting the man or some of these folks weren't exactly too...bright themselves. Whatever the case, it was unlikely that Robbie was working with the thieves or at least not intentionally.

If Robbie was indeed of the clumsy sort and not an act, then his guess was that this person was an unwilling stooge having their incompetence taking advantage of. They likely only picked the nights they knew Robbie would be watching the cameras who would be doing so poorly or that he is easily tricked and manipulated, but then that raises another question. How do they know the station watch schedule if this was indeed the case?
