Su knew why she had been included on this assignment, that didn’t mean she had to like it.

Jacqueline was a reliable ally, if a bit too focused for her own good. She had caused some property damage to the police station they were trying to save [s]along with a few bottles of Jack Daniels[/s], and drew her own blood in front of a night walker. Though these lapses in judgement were more than made up by her sheer determination. Su did not know many agents that would have the endurance to continue fighting with their guts out of place, or to have a cool enough head to talk someone like Rottweiler down. 

Finn was not someone that Su had much experience dealing with. During both operations they were only in the same room for a moment before they parted ways. He had been an effective ally it seemed. though his obsession with Betty was problematic, and something that could indirectly crop up anywhere. His emotions needed to be tempered a bit, much like her own adopted daughter. So long as he listened, she was sure things would be alright.

Aaaaand now he was just pulling on the front door. The chances of the front door being boobytrapped were pretty slim, but Su would have preferred to do as little to alert the enemy as possible. Though maybe now was a good time to talk strategy.

Support, and one armed with a rapier. Not a combination that made Su happy, but none of them chose their grimoires. 

[color=peachpuff]”Leroux, behind me when enemy not present. Remember, detain doctor, not kill.”[/color] She smiled a bit to let Jaquiline know she wasn’t totally serious about her concern involving the mission target, except she was. 

She cast her gaze towards the door. If Finn managed to open it, she would raise her shield and enter the clinic first, expecting the other agents to fall in line behind her. Otherwise, she’d gesture for Jaquilne to “pick” the door open first.

Luna’s typical morning routine involved Billy’s voice booming through the halls of the Bastion, a literal wake up call that poured through the speaker system. When that failed, or in certain emergencies, Trixy would barge into her room and shake her awake. She could sleep through most things, and was honestly a little suprised her phone had managed to wake her up. 

But she was glad that it had.

Did she believe this ‘rat’? Not exactly. It would be too easy for GEMINI to use Shimr to bait Tetrad into leaving the safety of the Bastion. But she couldn't discount the chance they might know where Jez was. Even if it was a gem, capturing them could get her closer to Jez’s location anyway. Hundreds of scenarios played out in her head, and they all made persuing this lead seem like a good idea.

She reached into a mini fridge under her bed. Half a slice of cold pizza later, she was in her bathroom brushing her teeth. But her phone was always there, waiting for PirateBayRat's next message.
