This RP looks banging. I want to throw my hat in the ring, if you'll have me, artist formerly known as Grim. Does this mean we will be afforded large amounts of creative liberty or is there a check and balance system you use (a lá run everything by zerodogs first? How do you intend to pace the RP?
while we're in the early stages of feeling out what works best i will advise people to run things by me if they think a decision is going to have a butterfly effect (killing/maiming a character, revealing your powers to anyone, introducing a major npc, a character receiving a major injury, etc). for things like character development, conflicts between player characters, arcs with minor npcs (think the celebrity guest that appears as someone's dad for 2 episodes a season) then i'll leave it to you. i will say if you want your character to have a more significant arc that can affect things down the line, such as having a power with heavy psychological or physical effects on them, then i will be working with you to develop that anyway but that will need more close monitoring. the structure and pace of the roleplay is going to be similar to that of seasons in a tv show, with main acts being seasons and sub-acts being episodes (though not limited to 10 or 13). main acts will have an overarching plot, the first being the group gaining powers and that acting as a catalyst for uncovering capital construction's true motives in doing business in delton. within that sub-acts can be anything from investigating capital representatives, the group having a day of training to try and hone their powers, a character who maybe isn't aware of their power at first discovering it during a stressful day, two characters having a conflict, characters reconnecting, etc. maybe see them in two categories; plot-driven and character-driven. once the ic starts moving i think players will find themselves developing sub-acts organically, culminating from minor decisions made and events that i'll be throwing into the mix.
