jack probably wouldn't have minded talking to hanna during classes (especially the boring ones) but would've withheld some judgement about the company she kept. maybe after the house party jack was more noticeably absent from their conversations, being secretive about her own sexuality at the time and not wanting the association. whenever hanna was with her friends jack would've probably avoided her.
