The spear, yeah.  

So what I had in mind was a spear and shield in conjunction, the spear head would have a charge of fuel in it, and could either detach on command, or else be launched by thruster(though without any guidance).

The shield would have a rotating rack of spare spear heads on the inner side of it, so that it can re-arm the shaft as needed.  

So yeah, spear with rocket head, a few differences in the exact execution, but [i]very[/i] similar ideas. 

You don't need to change it, I can definitely use something else.
