[INDENT][INDENT][i]	Frankly, I intend to do a lot to change this character. As much as I do genuinely enjoy the stories Byer's. Those after him make this character a poorly written anti-hero at best and an male gaze oriented shonen protagonist at her worst and I don't think there are many Shuriken fans to disagree with me. It's a cliche I don't enjoy often but I really wanted to play the 'young hero' style character. I imagine Chie will likely be low on the totem pole for most of, if not all of this roleplay. Between superman's raw power or Thor's powers. I'm mostly hoping to make her a sort of fill in for the role Blackwidow or catwoman, where she is a distant anti-hero at her best and a shifty double agent at her worst. I want to lean more into the street level crime that, between batman, Vigilante and Black Panther, all seem perfect for this! I hope to make her a more light-hearted member of whatever team she ends up joining. Mostly, Shuriken to me is a sidekick, someone who is great to have in a fight, but struggles on her own against a genuine inhumane threat.

Chie Jordan is the daughter and second child of Kyoko, the first Shuriken. This version picks up on Kyoko's story as she joins the agents of shield, one of many highly trained mercenaries used to assist the Avengers or to handle superhuman situations. This job required Chie's family to move often and she rarely saw her mother. They cherished their time together from a young age and Kyoko would teach Chie and her brother martial arts. While Chie's brother wasn't particularly keen on the idea, Chie clung to it. She never let go of it either, practicing martial arts from the ripe old age of six with the diligence of a shaolin monk. She clung to every chance to spar with her mother and try to get the upper hand.

Eventually, after her brother had moved out, Chie and her family would move to gotham. Gotham proved to be a haven of crime. [/i][/indent][/indent]

I always felt that Byers had a great idea that was just ruined by low quality art and most likely a low budget. Seeing the series rebooted made me want to do a 'remake' of my own, of sorts.

I really like the story of underdogs and people who are in some way struggling. Growing up is hard and for once I think I am just going to play someone my age going through the same stuff we all do. Struggling to keep motivated, doing things you regret, being stupid. Sort of like the spectacular spiderman animated series[/i][/indent][/indent]

Hey I was reading your WIP and doing some research into Shuriken, and I just wanted to double check if I'm understanding something. It seems like you've created your own character to take up their mother's mantle and identify. I can't find any canon mention of Chie or a second child.

If that's the case, your sheet will need to be adjusted as we're only doing Canon characters in this game.
